Watched Lierey's BO3 against Vinch during the week and watching his games against Yo today I don't think I've ever seen him play so sloppy since he burst onto the scene 6 years ago. Not taking anything away from Yo/Vinch but his reactions seemed a second or two slow and constantly losing 5-6 units under TC fire was alarming as well. Hope he figures it out and rounds into shape in time for RBW.

Remove every map that isnt Arena/Fortified Clearing/Fortress as they can all end in early castle age.

I didn't say such thing but golden swamp is even worse than islands because after losing water u have literally 0 gold access, Nicov today had 2 of his 3 golds spawned forward, Jordan's 5 pile gold ended up near water as well, what are they supossed to do if they lose water when ships can range everything XD

Just make the other maps start in Imperial Age, solves the problem without the extra work of selecting new maps :P

I assume it’s on me for not fully understanding the nuance of the situation, but that whole gifting four herdables thing seemed a bit off.

T90 went so far as to say that Hera deserved to lose after that, especially because the reason JorDan likely lost the goats was because he was busy laming Hera's hunt instead of scouting. He also said, "gifting 400 food, when your opponent has taken a risk in a tournament, is a bad look."

In Hera's defense (words I thought I would never say), after losing the previous game he might have wanted a strong win without relying on the lame, just to get his rhythm back. And it is certainly more fun to play without the lame, which is why I understand that few pros lame on the ladder.

Amazing final. That was definitely the best houseboat game ever. WWC had some great games on this map but none can compare to absolute craziness which happened in the final. Very happy for the winner, so glad I was able to witness this. Gonna rewatch the match later on YT too, the games were simply too good.

While I initially disagreed with the inclusion of the houseboat map as I thought it was simply a meme map (even though I know T90 and Dave love it)... that Villese/Vinchester match was one of the better games I've watched.

Props to T90 and robo for a well run league/tournament. I'm looking forward to the next season.

Really great entertainment. I did feel sorry for the players for having to play both the semi-finals and the final in the same day. Not sure that is conducive to the highest possible level but we really were treated to a classic.

I actually like that in some of the tournaments. When things get messy, they are very interesting and it's amazing spectacle to watch how players react under pressure, when some multitasking might not be on point. It's definitely demanding on the players (especially when houseboat is at the end of such long day! 11) and it shouldn't be a norm across all tournaments but i think it's fine when it happens in some of them.
That all docks hotkey mistake which the player didn't realize during the game and only learned about afterwards, made for some hilarious moments in the stream which casters elevated into great entertainment.
