Hello everyone,
If you enjoy the first edition or you missed it, don't worry you have another opportunity to team up with anyone you like, regardless of his elo, and have tons of fun =) Since Merry-Go-Rounds is a map especially made to be beginner-friendly while keeping the game interesting for experienced players. It's the perfect fit for "high skill gap" games.
The concept of "True FMT**" tournaments is to give advantages or handicaps according to player's elo.

Quick answers (more details below):
- When? The 10th of November from ~15:00 GMT to ~22 GMT (at the latest!), Yes everything will be done in one afternoon/evening! (You'll have to be around the whole time (a break is scheduled don't worry).
- What? A mini 2v2 true FMT (Friends May Team) tournament on MGoR !
- Why true FMT? Because Extra vils will be given according to elo, therefore all teams in the tournament will be balanced.
- For who? Any ETK and Guests of the order(everyone) can enter (https://discord.gg/3qxFykt). You need to have at least 25 ranked 1v1 games on Voobly (or 15 if Medieval Siege), that you didn't lose on purpose. (We're trusting you, no smurfs please!! That's a small tournament for fun, don't ruin it <3 )
- Where? On Voobly only (If both team agrees to play it on HD and it works, I'm ok with it).
- How to sign up? Post an answer on this thread or contact me by any means (discord, voobly, steam). When you sign up tell me the elos of both players and a team name if you want to have one, for potential seeding please inform how much you played MGoR already.
- What if I don't have a teammate? Join the ETK discord and ask there, I'll try to match people that are motivated to play.
- Any prizes? Yes (more details below)
- Any other prerequiste? Speaking English, being nice etc. Respecting schedule! (1 player on the team should have read this whole post and the workshop entry entirely (except the "the game designer approach and goals" section)).
- How many teams? We'll play the tournament if we have 5 teams at least. We accept teams until a maximum of 12.

Wiki entry for "Swiss-system tournament":
A Swiss-system tournament is a non-eliminating tournament format which features a set number of rounds of competition, but considerably fewer than in a round-robin tournament. In a Swiss tournament, each competitor (team or individual) does not play every other. Competitors meet one-to-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar running score, but not the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. All competitors play in each round unless there is an odd number of players.
Everyone will play on each round (except if we have a odd number of teams) and the two best teams will play the final.
The tie breakers for the swiss phase are the following:
- Wins vs tied participants
- Median-Buchholz system (If you won against people that won a lot it matters more)
- Points difference (3-0 ingame is more valuable than 3-2)
