Hi folks. I'm ELO ˜1800 and would like to start playing tournaments but did not really get how they are currently arranged, if there are drafts for "new players" and so... any clues or "get started - tournament" you are aware?

"New Player" because I've been intermittently playing AoE II for fun for 20 years but just recently discovered the crazy world online of it =)

In general you need to keep your eyes open for tournament anoucments, either on aoezone or in the communitys of streamers. One of my best tournaments i even found in a facebook group 11.

Otherwise there are some lower-level and TG tournaments open too.

If you are looking for 1v1, 1800 is a bit difficult, because you often won't make the cut for the top tournaments and many smaller tournaments are for lower levels. But still, there generally is one almost every month.
