Hey all,
during the 2pools semifinals of aM vs. Tempo which where played live, I started to get really annoyed by watching through all the downtime inbetween games, especially with the drops and restarts. Of course thats no ones fault, it just happens. But that once again brought up the question for me:
Why are we doing live games? What is the advantage of live games over recorded games?
I mean I do enjoy live games when there is any type of extra content or bonus for the viewer, like facecams of the players. But right now the entertainment for the viewer is pretty much the same for live and recorded games. Except that recorded games dont come with downtime and dealing with server issues, restarts and so on.
I am really curious to read your views why live games are exciting or not.
