That's a problem when we talk about aoe2, many think Arabia skill = aoe2 skill. But aoe2 is much more than that.

Top 10 players in aoe2 =/ Top 10 players in Arabia.

I think arabia skill can more easily extrapolate to other maps and game modes, and many tournaments have proven that

That's a problem when we talk about aoe2, many think Arabia skill = aoe2 skill. But aoe2 is much more than that.

Top 10 players in aoe2 =/ Top 10 players in Arabia.

The question is how to weight the different skills though and I believe this is where everyone has a different opinion already. For "my" ranking I'd try to weight different maps according to how often they are played in tournaments and ranked games, which means that Arabia is not all but clearly the most important map out there, so Arabia skills play a significant role (>50%).

So I am almost average in my opinion for that and the bottom is also almost the same.

Oh, I - a mere mortal - in no way want to slight Daut's performance. His KotD performance underscored he is absolutely still top 8 material. Still, if you saw all the "Daut real KOTD champion" comments in twitch chats, you are confused to only see him at his real level in a poll

Yeah, memes aside Daut has looked great recently. I think ranking him anywhere from 5-8 is reasonable, I'd probably have him around #6.
