if i count all games i have in voobly and in zone, im sorry guys but i doubt many players can´t beat me in that, but playing everyone
Spoken like a true grown-up.Sure, but fact remains I probly could've spent this time on something more productive. I just chose for fun over long term gains
There was a Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends tournament in 2006 with a prize pool of $70'000. Grunt came first and Daut second.its no coincidence that the best players have the most games. When they transition to new games with a level playing field like starcraft and aoe de they dont dominate.

thats"s logic..doesnt really invalidate what i said. Professional gamers with more free time to play generally are at the top of the tree.
Thing is… at least in the good old days, 30min game-time normally came along with another 30min of waiting for a game, waiting for people who paused, crashes, out of sync, fp….
it was not seldom, that you spent e.g. 2 hours in front of your computer for 30 min net-game-time...
so if you consider "time invested in gaming" as "net-game-time", you'll end up with hardly more than 20-30% of time actually invested.
In case of daut I guess he spent more than a year (net-time) with playing age during the last 20 years...
Then again I would not be surprised if the Person who actually spent the most time on aoc never reached a rating above 1700 and remains unknown to the community...
