Ok, let me introduce you the best and the worst lumbercamp at the same time:
The best - well surrounded with trees.
The worst - you must micro those vils like hell because they will walk 20.000 tiles around the trees to chop tree on the right side... So in the castle age I didn't even have wood to build extra 2 tc right away with Jap 11111
Dear Friends of good lumbercamps, fellow 4-by-4-tile-spot-enthusiasts,
I can proudly present you the results of the Lumbercamp Competition.
Now, I have pondered over this difficult decision for weeks, not sleeping, not eating, only living off coffee. I even had to enlist the help of adminbot to get to a decision in this question of uttermost importance. <add more dramatic build-up here>
but yeh, in the end, here are the results:
The Price for the Finder of the Lumbercamp of the Month goes to @Henkdesupernerd for an incredibly pleasing lumbercamp that is also probably one of the safest there can be, from a game that Nili played on a smurf. Beautiful.
The runner-ups are: @professorhd in 2nd place with a beautiful screenshot and probably the best possible lumbercamp position to be found on El Dorado. Very soothing!
@enmipho in 3rd place with an incredibly lucky lumbercamp positioning. Whoever skripted that AI did a fine job, that's for sure. Only drawback to this one was the lack of screenshot quality but it's still a prime LC.
And now for the Winner of the Golden Log Award for the worst Lumbercamp. This was an incredibly close one aswell. Before we get to the winner I wanted to give a honourable mention to the Lumbercamp @guitarizt shared (and that apparently Arclet posted in T90's discord, ty). It is an amazingly inefficient one by T90 and shows the sad truth that some people just don't care to take one second to look at whether it's more than one tree they place their LC on. wp.
But now, for the winner, it will be the lumbercamp that @T-West shared: This one is gloriously bad. Wasted on 3 trees, sentencing seven innocent villagers to death under a castle, in the middle of the map on Arena... (also congrats to Jonslow, the Architect of this masterpiece). But yes. The only concern I have is why, for ****'s sake, didn't you wait for the lumbercamp to finish to take a screenshot. Seriously, why?
Congratulations to everyone, may you hold your prestigious titles and revel in your eternal glory!
Thanks to everyone for participating
