There are 32 open Sign Up slots, Reserve slots will be allocated to any sign up not accepted in Top 32.
Day 1 Sign in will be open from 14:00 GMT to 16:00 GMT. Failure to Sign in and be ready to play during this time will result in removal from brackets.
Reserve slots will be allocated ( to Reserves in the Tournament lobby ) no later than 16:05 GMT to replace any Top 32 player that fails to Sign in and be ready to play.
Round 1 MUST start no later than 16:15 GMT and The following rounds start once an opponent appears on the brackets. Player's have a maximum of 15 minutes waiting time once an opponent ends his previous round.
Player's are allowed to commence each round earlier than the 14-16 GMT if both players are ready.

The tournament is to be played on Age of Empires II: The Conquerors with the 1.4 Userpatch.
Games are to be played in the Tournament Lobby of Voobly using the VCOM Ladder also the WiC Mod to avoid Bombard Towers being made by accident

All players must log in to the Tournament lobby using the same name as Signed up.
The tournament will be completed over 2 day's. Saturday ( Day 1 ) and Sunday ( Day 2 ).
1. Round of 32 & 16 |
The Round of 32 & 16 are both to be played as a Best of 3 in the following manner:
Game 1: TA_DM_GA - Team Random
Game 2: TA_DM_Team Islands - Hidden Civs
Game 3: TA_DM_GA - Huns war
- If the score is 2:0 the remaining map does not need to be played.
2. Round of 8 & Losers Bracket Game A & B |
The Round of 8 and the Losers Bracket Round 1 ( games A & B ) are both to be played as a Best of 3 in the following manner:
Game 1: TA_DM_GA - Team Random
Game 2: TA_DM_GA - Team Random
Game 3: TA_DM_GA - Franks war
If the score is 2:0 the remaining map does not need to be played.
3. Winners Bracket Semi Finals & Losers Bracket Game C, D & E |

The Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket Finals ( Games W & F ) are a Best of 5 to be played in the following manner:

Game 4: TA_DM_GA - Losing player decides Civ match up ( same for both )

5. Grand Final |
The Grand Final is to be played as a Best of 5 or Best of 7 . Due to the Double Elimination and to avoid a further match between the winners of both brackets, if the LB winner is the first to 3 games ( best of 5 ) then the WB winner will receive 2 further games as his double elimination chance. So it then becomes a Best of 7

1. General Rules |
- All players must respect the Tournament schedule and times for each round. This is a fast paced event and there will be NO exceptions or delays granted. No excuse will be accepted for failing to play in the specified time. Player's may be warned, receive an admin loss of 1 game or be disqualified from the tournament.
- Every player must respect their opponent. Bad behavior (determined by staff) will result in a warning and may lead to an immediate disqualification. This tournament values not only great skills, but also sportsmanship and fairness. Any insult, racism or flaming will not be tolerated. Laming and mind games in game are allowed.
- All players must agree to the No Smurf rule. Each player must submit all relevant usernames for Admin discussion, and to accurately create seeding. Smurfing and account sharing is not allowed. Any discovery of the mentioned will result in disqualification.
- All games are by default to be played in the Voobly Tournament Lobby using the VCOM Ladder and the WiC Mod.
- During Day 1 & 2, Immediately after completion of each match, both players must join Game Room #1 and post the result e.g. Player A " I won 2-0 ", Player B "yes I confirm 2-0" . This will allow for fast bracket updates and the start of the next rounds.
- During Day 1 & 2 , players are allowed to continue with the next round match up once an opponent is visible on the brackets. e.g You do not have to wait for all match ups of the following round to be visible. Again this will help speed up the event.
- Upon completion of Day 1 & 2, all recorded games must be posted according to the rules and post them in the Awakening Recorded Games section( :arrow: viewforum.php?f=1005) of that respective round.
- Before posting, the recorded game files must be renamed in the following format:

- Additional time to complete your games will NOT be allowed under any circumstances! This is a 2 day event and fast paced.
- In case of disconnections, the game must be saved and restored. All of the .mgz recorded game files (multiple parts of the game before/after drop) must be provided when posting the recorded games.
If restoring is not possible, the recorded game should be provided, along with any additional information to the Administration instantly. Subsequently, facts will be analyzed and a final decision made.
- Once each round is completed by both opponents, the maximum waiting time is 15 minutes.If the match is delayed by either party , this can be reported to the Tournament Admins in either Game room#1 or #2. Clearly titled as Admins Room.
- Prizes will be sent via PayPal. If the recipients do not use/have PayPal the prizes will be sent by other means. All / any fees will be deducted from the recipients prize.
- If a game is not recorded, it must be replayed regardless of result and evidence of it.
- By signing up for the tournament you agree to have all your games streamed and casted by the official streamers through using the Spectator Mode on Voobly, brought by the Userpatch 1.4 RC version. The streams will always have a delay to avoid cheating, and no other persons are allowed to spectate your game besides the official streamers, or if persons are granted permission by the tournament Administration for a valid reason. There is no assurance of your games being streamed, but the possibility is there at all times.
- New rules can be added and current rules can be changed. However, Admins MUST inform the players about such changes. Some changes maybe necessary while live and will be highlighted in the lobby. The changes will also be highlighted on this topic as a post reply. All the latest additions in Rules / Settings will be in red.

- Restarts:
In a Best of 3 each player is awarded ONE restart each.
In a Best of 5 each player is awarded ONE restart each.
Either player may call an Admin restart themselves for blocked gold. e.g gold that is blocked by trees.
A restart must be requested no longer than 2 minutes of game time (remember that this is shorter than real minutes). When a game is restarted, the civilizations must be the same as in the previous attempt.
- Any graphic changes that only affects the player's Age of Empires II: The Conquerors are allowed.
- Cheating is not allowed under any circumstances. Players using any kind of cheat will be disqualified from the event and banned from future Voobly, AoCZone events, as well as the AoCZone forums.
- All the game settings provided in this post MUST be followed. Not following them may result in penalties and possibly disqualification.
- No Tournament Admin is allowed to participate for any Team.
- By signing-up for the tournament, you automatically agree with all the Tournament Rules and Settings.
