I hope brazilian 2nd OG besides Alive, _WraTh _ is being considered; Otherwise it would be blasphemy!

Yeah and T90It's a big undertaking. Looking forward to seeing the full list. Odd that only 4 players were in everybody's top 20. Maybe some of them are more recent players?
I can't imagine a list with Daut, Viper, Koven, Halen, Kkab, Chris being below top 10, let alone not making top 20!
I appreciate your adding to the OP, but I also wouldn't mind each addition to go as a reply to the thread.

Yes, exactlyvivi's real name is long wang?
Yes, unfortunately Wang Long is one of the conventional names like John or Bob... Both family name and given names are very common.I'd like to know that too. I know many Chinese names have meanings, many of which have deep meanings. It would explain why the name Fat Dragon.
From Wikipedia: " The Dragon King, also known as the Dragon God, is a Chinese water and weather god. He is regarded as the dispenser of rain as well as the zoomorphic representation of the yang masculine power of generation.[1] He is the collective personification of the ancient concept of the lóng in Chinese culture. He can take a variety of forms, the most important ones being the cosmological Sihai Longwang (四海龍王 "Dragon King of the Four Seas") "
Great post by the way, thank you!
You assume rightTaToH's number of tournament wins is impressive. 13 in 1v1 and 9 in team game must put him in the top 4 of all times, right? After Viper, and in competition with DauT and Chris I assume.
My predict #1 to #10
1. Theviper
2. Daut
3. Chris
4. Grunt
5. Lierey
6. Halen
7. MrYo
8. Koven
9. Hera
10. Kkab
So yeah I wonder which of those points are seemingly placing Tatoh lower on the list than one could expect. The criteria for the list were skills, achievements, longevity, influence… and subjective preference
Influence? I don't think so, he's the uncontested top 1 legend of the massive Spanish speaking community. He has also been a part of the top team (Tyrant) for some years now.
Yes, for me Liereyy and Hera are top 20, but hard to say if top 10. If I compare their career to the career of DauT, Chris, Viper, Yo, dogao, Tim and more, theirs basically just started. They might have won more money, but 1v1 players could earn much more money in 2018-20 than in 2013-2017.I agree it's likely that Hera will be in the top 10, but if it were up to me he'd be no higher than the mid-20s. He's got the time and potential to be comfortably in the top 10 of all time, but right now he's only been a very top-tier player for maybe a year and a half, and hasn't won the kind of major 1v1 tournament which would solidify his position in a list like this. For my money, Tatoh, MbL, Tim, Jordan and Riut should all rank higher. Probably Ruso and Capoch too though as I've said before I know the 00's less well so can't be certain. Will be interesting to see the distribution within the top 10, either way.
Yeah I'd say about 3 years, although I'm not too good when it comes to memory. When I said "Tyrant" I meant all the names that came after too, since it's really the same team changing names. Those some years are 2-3? i dont remember its a really short time window for a 21 year old game, iirc he just got to be a few months in tyrant before they switched into Secret...
Competition is just too high, I'd argue for a spaniard Ruso was way more influential (let alone a pioneer - meta shaper)... active for almost twice the time.
There is a recency bias for sure, but at the same time I don't think it can be disputed that the current level of play nowadays is the highest it has ever been. That's the issue when doing "all-times"' lists, as you can only really compare players to their contemporaries.Liereyy's KotD 3 title is not much more impressive than Tim's Master of Arabia, but a lot more money, more viewers, so more glamour. Of course now Tim no longer is a top 10 player, but players like him, BacT, dogao, Jordan have been a top 10 player for longer than Hera or Liereyy when there just weren't that many tournaments.
