Currently, teutonic knight is pretty much useless unit at any stage of the game, nobody ever makes them if he wants to win and we never ever see tk on the competitive scene, which is extremely sad since, lets be honest, we all love and adore tk so much.
There shouldn't be useless units in the game, why have it if there is no point to make them, such units should be buffed in one way or another.
Now here is my point. Tk is considered useless because 1) it is too slow 2) it dies to archers. Some might argue that we should adress these issues. But it will change the identity of the unit too much. I think that instead, we should make strong sides of tk even stronger, increasing their attack or melee armor to the point, where it becomes a viable unit despite dying to archers and being to slow. For instance, i think it would be reasonable to give tk extra +15 base attack. One might argue that it would make tk too overpowered and broken, but I dont think this is the case, since nobody ever manfights tk anyways, almost the only occasion when tk have a chance to hit somebody is when cavalry runs around them to snipe siege. Thus, giving tk +15 base attack will make tk+siege combo very viable strategy for teutons, without breaking identity of the unit, and it will not make tk overpowered since it is still too slow and dies to archers. A perfect solution in my opinion, although migh seem broken at first glance.
