I was referring to his profile pic. You also dont use the nazi symbol as an avatar i guess? Well anyway your post are always o angry calling people idiots, ******s, maybe you should start meditating to calm down or stress will kill you.We were talking about Russia not USSR. Anyway any country has black spot in its history so your "argument" is ******ed and completely unrelated. It is 2014, USSR does not exist anymore and Russia is not some kind of threat, open your ignorant eyes.
It is actually a small nerf, because one would rather be using that vill those 25 first seconds, but it's more than compensated with the LOS which saves you from the sometimes awful china start.
About the 23 pop sc i've seen it before, I don't think it's very uncommon, but i might be wrong. Of course without balance patch you could get an awful start and then 23 sc wouldn't be as powerful, but being that china in this balance patch can manage to get nearly no idle time with early sheep and have +2 vills it should be able to go 23 pop scouts exactly in the same time a hun goes in 21 pop (and with better farms) which is quite good to me. A reason it could be uncommon is before balance patch we didn't see a lot of china in 1v1 and even then if sheep weren't fast you couldn't be 2 full vills ahead of other civs.
/edit oh i didn't finish reading carlos so the 10 wood makes it neither a nerf nor boost. so the actual important boost is the tc LOS
He means one less vil and +50 food AND +10 wood makes the overall setup neither a nerf nor a boost. He prefers China in the balance patch to China in aoc because of the +5 LOS for TC which makes it faster to find starting sheep (in cases where you would not have sheep at start without the +5 LOS).It is actually a small nerf, because one would rather be using that vill those 25 first seconds, but it's more than compensated with the LOS which saves you from the sometimes awful china start.

so it means you prefeir to have one less vill and +50 food than starting with 6 vills already? 1111

Speaking of china, I always wonder if it's still a "bonus" if you are late and don't get any lead at all. Even at high lvl games i see ppl being a few seconds late with china. Is that "bonus" a liability now? Or is there at least a resource advantage due to having more vils out earlier? Or is it canceled by the resource penalty?
Since when it is not? Russia is European country nevertheless most of its territory lies in Asia. Up to 80% of population lives in west part which is part of Europe and its culture, language and origin is not different from other Europian countries.
Having more LoS with equal resources and one less villager is much better than having one extra villager as you can lose your bonus quickly with china if you don't find food fast, you can also have an even worse start in some cases where you don't find any food and an enemy has made 4 extra vils already.Speaking of china, I always wonder if it's still a "bonus" if you are late and don't get any lead at all. viper has been the only human in a online game who has been able to have +2 vills, in online games the best is one vill and like 5 secs ahead, with far sheep but going for berrys gives you only few seconds ahead, not finding sheeps and going for trees instead of berrys grants you the worst start in aoc.

That is bullshit lol. At 1600, I'd say around 50% of the time I'd end up two vils ahead without balance patch as long as I find the sheep. Another 40% of the time one vil ahead, and the remainder about even with huns. The build order is no more difficult than dropping resources with Aztecs early on. Once you've done it a few times, it comes naturally.
In Aoc with China, i very rarely see even good players get 2 vil lead. Most of the time its 1 vil lead. 2 vils when you get sheep already in control (thats rare) and less than 1 vil (sometimes even no lead) when you find sheep late.viper has been the only human in a online game who has been able to have +2 vills, in online games the best is one vill and like 5 secs ahead, with far sheep but going for berrys gives you only few seconds ahead, not finding sheeps and going for trees instead of berrys grants you the worst start in aoc.
