Could any Vietnamese tell me whether the talks given by danhdecheko from time to time in this forum are considered as well-behaved or normal or repellent in the Vietnamese culture? Could he represent what you Vietnamese people value in your society? On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most respectful and 1 being the most disgusting how would you rate his manner?

I am a Vietnamese and I can tell you that this danhdecheko is NOT a typical Vietnamese. He either has some mental issue or is just too young to behave I believe. Most Vietnamese players on Voobly are terrible in English (and sometimes internet connection too) so they got misunderstood from time to time but fundamentally they are good folks. This guy though, is different. Eventhough his English is bad, I can still convey what he is trying to achieve by saying these things, and it shows he is a little boy. Please ignore and dont generalize us with him.

So should only the perceived elite of the elite play? 8 teams maybe? no one else bother?

Some people enter this tourney with realistic expectations and are playing for the sake of performing to the best of their abilities and letting the cards fall where they may. A team like China A has very different expectations from a team like France A (for a hypothetical example, I dont know personally what their aspirations are). that doesnt mean france cant play to try and do well, play with their fellow countrymen, and have a good time playing a fun game. your elitest attitude towards these things makes you seem short sighted and just idiotic overall. You state very obvious facts, fanboying the elite teams, treating their own victories and successes as your own, because you 'predicted it.' There is nothing special about you or your posts. you hide in anonymity and bask in the people who have realistic expectations of their performances failures.

Btw, I fully expect you to reduce any win a team who you dont think is quality has by making excuses, or taunting those who lose vs a better team. You really need to grow up and realize people play the game for different reasons, and even those who aspire to be competitive are simply at different stages of their development. You could have made fun of Edie two years ago thinking he wouldn't find success because he was one dimensional, but even now you can see he has made great strides. I am just using him as an example here, but every player in this game, from the ultra elite to the ones who are just starting out, is constantly improving. Idols fall and new players emerge. The game is constantly evolving, and the talent pool is much the same. One thing is static, attitudes like yours do not belong anywhere around here.
