SY(China) Nations Cup: Double Elim Top 8 begins!

Dear Community,

It is hard to believe ( time flies when you are having fun ), but it has been over 2 Months (April 21st) since the start of the SY Nations Cup. We started with 55 Teams, and we have finally reached the last 8: Every team and player has represented the AoC community brilliantly. We thank you all.

Congratulations go to the Top 8 Nations on reaching the Final Stages and Double Elimination:-
Argentina A Brazil A Brazil B Canada China A China B (hong kong) Hong Kong and Vietnam A

We would like to thank all the other teams that didn't make it to this stage for their effort and passion. The tournament wouldn't be half as exciting without you all.

After witnessing the extremely high level of play these Top 8 teams have shown so far, we can't help but be excited and wait with anticipation for the upcoming matches: oooooh it's nail biting stuff now

maybe the only surprise is how deep Hong Kong penetrated Germany A in Knockout Stage, 4-0.
I really hope Germany football team won't get that sm vs Brazil Tuesday

Hoping a "B" team will be in the finals. Complete humiliation to the A teams who thought they were superior. GO BRAZIL B

We have to be thankful for this amazing event not to complain about the fact that there are simply much stronger nations than others. And if there are no surprises at all for you then congratz, there were like 15 teams that had the chance and that would deserve to be in top 8, moreover there was a lot of surprising results so far (at least for me). Its funny how before the tourney I read everywhere for example that Germany A or Czech A would be in top 3 and that Canada would easily win anybody and now u say that these results are so expected... Anyway many thanks to sponsor, players, stuff and streamers, Iam really enjoying this tourney.

+1 i thought this tournament was on the top 3 i watched! It was amazing team play in a lot of games and very nice matchups.

All the games ended so onesided except the Canada VS Japan.
Japan did so great. And i think both teams would have deserved a win.

Can anyone think of another tournament like that? In every other tournament we all know Tyrant is going to take first place. There have been no controversial admin decisions, relatively few AW, little delay and top quality streams.

can't agree more. before this tournament, I'm getting disappointed the tournament, as there is no suspension that the tyrant will get the first title.

For me, Canada is the biggest surprise. At least 3 top class players in the team. Yet they struggled against some of the teams (lost to Argentina A, almost beaten by Japan) who don't boast of many renowned players.

The FIFA world cup is turning into European Cup anyway (I expect it's Netherlander vs German in the final).
