Don't know what gave you that idea?
You're the one who spent months investigating and writing up every little detail of his life and probably rummaging through his bins :P
I got the perfect solution, BMAPC187, KGB_GT_SY and Cjay are gonna make their own channel together and will be streaming everygame and are allowed to make every kind of advertisement for it. Looking forward!!!

Just took a fast look at Memb's list of donators: approximately 18.200€ in donations. And that's just counting his biggest donations. Let that sink in and then tell me if you still think he is not a paid streamer!
T90's channel is now probably 10x bigger than Memb's was when he got the partnership, but still not big enough to get a partnership. I assume you know how Memb got his partnership when he was averaging 30 viewers pro stream?
Now don't get me wrong, I actually admire Memb for all the work and passion he has put into AoC, but I suspect him fighting this hard against Voobly (read: refusing to stream on VO) will ultimately be his downfall too: when the big tournaments start fading away, which I believe will happen rather sooner than later, his channel will suffer too I think.

why do you think so? because you left?  perhaps if voobly insists on their **** policy, then sponsors might decide to do it without voobly. you raise so much money for some games and nobody watches them? lol voobly official is nothing but **** without memb+katsuni+crazy mode
I think I've watched about 3 streams on VO since Kats and memb quit streaming on there. For me they were a big part of the entertainment and there's no doubting that VO has suffered since then. I guess it peaked a year or two ago and is on a bit of a decline. I've no problem with any of the VO streamers, I always enjoyed late night relaxing streams with Genette casting, though he doesn't seem to do much of it any more. I'm very much of the opinion that anyone should be allowed to stream games on Voobly, but if exclusivity is enforced why not allow Memb, Zero or whoever else to stream those games that aren't live on VO channel?
Anyone can stream the matches as long as they aren't booked 6 hours ahead by Voobly Official.
Wtf, so "the poor Memb is not allowed to obtain any personal benefits streaming this tournament xxx brigade" is still in this thread?, always the same people with the same topic, you people dont get tired of this ****?, go and play some games in the only competitive platform of AoC which give you Antihack, several lobbies, and blah blah blah: Voobly (oh I forgot, they organize tournaments too, with real prize money).

At least he makes his donations public so its there for everyone to see. VooblyOfficial has been racking donations + Subs since at least 3 years in the name of future tournaments. However yet to materialize.
I don't even know what this segment means. If T90's channel is big enough for twitch they will give him partnership. Why don't you enlighten us about how Memb got partnership.
I don't get why people keep diverting. The issue is monopolistic streaming policy which is against the interest of viewers. Its not just Memb viewers. No one yet has pointed one single argument why multiple streamers for same game is bad for viewers while it has been shown to work with great results and satisfaction.
Resonance doesn't stream "pro" games, Zero will never come back to AoC, Mbl doesn't stream "pro games", T90 doesn't have a partnership and therefore no subscriptions which is the only source of regular income, so I stand by what I said: Memb is the only paid AoC streamer. Or to make it clearer, Memb is the only paid AoC streamer who casts "pro" games.
Thanks. After years of wondering how did he did it i finally got an answer :O. Was very curious because i knew the requirements at the time (500 avg for stream or little more flexibel for people who stream small games) I think memb should be extremely thankfull for that, gives me way less respect around all this stuff that has been going on. When he got the partnership at the time he wasn't pulling many viewers as you said, probably around the same as i and many other random small streamers at the time(gentle was always 2 or 3 times more than memb. Even with his current viewers i dont think it is likely he would have still to date gotten the partnership. The only reason Memb got a partnership was because Taff (see the irony? ) wrote to Twitch telling them Voobly would need more partnered channels to provide the necessary coverage for its events in the highest possible quality (that's how he got a partnership for the 2nd voobly channel too). He knew we would never use Memb as an official streaming channel but he still made that point to Twitch to try to convince them and he was successful. He did that because he felt like doing something good for memb as a retribution after all the hours he had streamed for VO (sometimes very late in the evening).

But in fact, if anything, I think what we have seen is that it does not bring more viewers as some people are claiming.
Take the final of MoA2 as an example: I think the peak was like 850 viewers for Memb, 600 for ZeroEmpires and like 300 for T90, something along those lines.
On the same day a couple of hours earlier, me and Zero streamed a fairly unimportant group stage game of the Arabia Invitational. Peak viewers number? 1100. Why? Because it was only 1 channel streaming. Now considering all the revenue made on that day (I think it was something like 60 bucks) will be used to sponsor future AoC events, isn't that better than having many people streaming the same game, with less viewers and none of the revenue being used for community tournaments?
If the final of MoA2 had been streamed on just 1 channel, with all the other ones hosting it and promoting it, don't you think the peak would have been much higher?
