It's just that it was simple and you're making it complicated. And it looks like you're trying to change the rules when nevergone is just trying to feed some money to the community. High level players don't need rules to make a sure-win into a fun game. And you need only high level players involved to decrease the risk of them having to pay $200.

IMO you should speak with him in private and establish the rules. Then come back with the final offer & rules so that people know what they're getting into (this just in: Capoch just proposed Four lakes when nevergone said only arena or arabia).

i just suggest to do not give the money to major S tier tournaments, but to choose one A-tier tournament and make it S-tier with the extra money.
in this way we will have more tournaments with the big players to watch.

If the Defender is Mr.Tim, as he proposed, the Challengers would be mostly top players who stream, which would result in pretty big skill gap.
Some cap for the pros would be needed, in order to make the series not only balanced, but entertaining to watch at the same time (2k5s destroying Tim who's 1k7 wouldn't be very fun).
I remember the bdod challenges series played between Hera and Viper, I'm imagining something like that but harder for the Challengers.

There is this "handicap" function now on the new patch. Maybe it can be of use to get rid of a bit of the skill difference? Like the sponsor playing on 150% vs 100% pro players?
