Given the circumstances of disappointment
_______________
Given the circumstances of not having complete source material to work with, and the disappointingly low amount of episodes, and bad episodes, the ending wasn't all that bad tbh. Only a few characters got destroyed beyond recognition (most of em ded anyways), and there's lots and lots of cliffhangers for everyone's favorite Starks to think their ideas might become true, Bran "maybe finding him [Drogon]" to get a dragon pet, Jon has his doggo and can be the Ranger he always wanted to be, Sansa has a crown and a realm, Arya likewise ranging out and being as assassin's creed as she wants.
It was fun.
Nice.My underlying for-fun lolz idea was that this all is Bran's/Three-Eyed Raven's plan, to let everyone die, and that's why he doesn't interfere much to help, just look where he helps - gives Arya dagger to get rid of Night King, tells Sam the right moment to tell Jon about his heritage when it'll lead to the cascade of events we have seen... So he knows things, but chooses what to react on.
After I then saw a video on the previous Three-Eyed Raven from the books, it would fit extremely well.
