Spectator Dashboard

I put together a new website called Spectator Dashboard, https://aoe2recs.com/dashboard/. It shows a real-time view of top player matches and has a couple neat features:

• Player unit composition & age
• Known player data
• Tournament annotation
• Spectator chat log
• Player queuing and matching
• Leaderboard
• Past matches w/VOD links
• Trend charts
• Map pool stats
• Recent tournament series results+download
• News feed

It integrates data from 7 different sources. There are still some issues to work out, so it might be down or inaccurate occasionally. Please let me know if you spot any problems, have feedback, or questions.

Would you consider making a teamgame version for it? I know tg elo isn't a good judgement for "pro games" but it would be cool to get notified, for example, when there are >2 pros in the same team playing.

It supports team games. Criteria for showing any match is having a "point score" greater or equal to half the team size. One point is awarded for each player above position #250 on either the RM 1v1 ladder, or Tournament ELO ladder. A second point is added for each player in the top 50 of the same.

Effectively, all 1v1s with a top player qualify, but for example a 4v4, needs 2 players in the top 50 or 4 in the top 250.

What does Rank (Ladder) mean? For example right now lyx has #38 (57), and there's also a player with N/A (171)

What's the filter for rank? Top 300, will it be customizable (could be costly for api calls though)?

Happy to hear suggestions to improve the UI. It is also open source so anyone can submit changes.

The rank cutoff is currently 250 (either Tournament Rank or 1v1 RM Rank). Probably will not be customizable for CPU reasons.

Great work! Would be amazing to have a web viewer here too, although that would be a huge addition.

Yes just noticed github link on page. I've never worked with Svelte, but I would like to check weekends. Good opportunity to get my hands dirty after React and Angular.

One thing that bothers me though is that whenever I (most of the times inadvertently) hover with my house over someone's name, a window with more information immediately pops up preventing me from reading the rest of the page.

Maybe make it so that the popup only comes after like 1 full second without moving the mouse?

Added some basic help text about which players/matches are tracked. Maybe I should add some explanation of all the random icons as well?

Two updates:

1. Mirror civ choice now annotated, in addition to random
2. Ongoing matches show up on player list even if match doesn't meet tracking criteria

Add two more features:

1. Auto-updating top 50 leaderboard - ranks by highest-rated account, so there are no smurfs shown
2. Past 8 hours match history - each match notes winner, shows minimap, has rec download links, and has a timestamped VOD link if the player was streaming at the time.
