So the topic at hand. I have been playing aoe2 since high school about 12 years now. I have tried different games from different genres, but I always come back to good old aoe2.
There is hype around aoe4, it looks like a decent enough game. But how long can the hype last and keep a big audience loyal to it. We dont know.
What I do know is that the game isnt a better game than aoe2 and not even close to be a final product on its own. So at the end of the day aoe2 will be fine and people and players will return to play and watch.
In the short term the Facebook gaming fiasco that only benefits 2 people is having a large impact on the numbers. But they will come back. I dont think Facebook is paying them a ton of money to stream for 500 viewers. That is literally ridiculous and not a good deal for the money they invested in.
