After some matches with and against Sicilians, it feels to me like they rely crazily on the matchup. Against infantry civs, they seem mega strong because Spears Pikemen are basically useless against them. But when the opponent can mass a power unit, they lack the eco- and army-power to survive. Either they're like Superhero-Franks or they are Bulgarians little brother.
Other opinions about that?
Also, what are some civs who are also very matchup-reliant? Goths come in mind, maybe Celts. Burmese & Spanish bc of the clear UU theme. Britons. Cumans I guess. Any of them similar to Sicilians in that aspect?
