Should i be ashamed?

I have nearly 2k games and stuck between 1100 and 1200 ELO. I feel ashamed that Player with like 200, 300 games get easy to 1500 and higher.

The question is simple.

Do you enjoy playing the game?
If yes, keep playing. Otherwise, stop.

If your enjoyment comes from your rating, maybe this is not the game for you. If you're still having fun while playing your games regardless of rating, then it's all good.

That’s probably the main reason why you aren’t getting higher. You don’t have the “do whatever it takes” attitude. Just from personal experience and seeing others having the same mindset, it’s pretty much the main reason why some people hit their goals and others never do.

If you are stuck at 1200 you need to improve your build orders and hotkeys. Watching recs won't do it. After you play a game just think about the crucial point where you could have done something better instead of going through the whole rec. You dont need to watch the rec to know you were too late to castle age or that you died to raids.

Why do you want to improve beyond 1200? You won't have any more fun and you'll still win 50% of your games. Just focus on having fun

I might get to 1000 elo on a good day, and that is after playing for 21 years. I am playing the best I ever played, but so is everybody else. I blame Youtube lol
Still love the game though, and I 61 years old , and my win rate is about 50%
