General Settings
1. All games must be played on Age of Empires 2: HD Edition with all expansions enabled.
2. If a team fails to show up to an arranged and confirmed game within 30 minutes, it will result in an automatic loss.
3. All participants and admins must respect each other. Bad behavior will result in a warning and may lead to a disqualification. Insults or racism directed towards other players are not tolerated.
4. Players must use their main account. Smurfing and account sharing is prohibited. Furthermore, players must use the name that they signed up with.
5. When all games in the respective rounds are played, the winning team must upload the recorded game in the Recorded Games thread. If no recorded games are posted, the games will be considered not played.
6. In case of a game crash or out of sync, the game must be saved and restored. All of the recorded files must be uploaded.
7. If a game is not recorded, it must be replayed regardless of result and evidence of it.
8. Rules can be changed or added freely up until the tournament has officially started. After the tournament has started, announcements will be made if there are made changes to the rules.
9. Cheating or hacking is not allowed under any circumstances. Players found using any kind of cheat or hack will be disqualified and banned from all future tournaments.
10. We reserve the right to spectate any tournament game live.
Maps & Civilizations
Group Stage
All rounds in the group stage are Pa3 (Play all 3) and will be played on the following four maps.
Game 1: This game will always be played on African Waters.
Game 2: The map will be chosen by the losers of game 1.
Game 3: The map will be chosen by the winners of game 1.
Before the civilization draft, each team will have to pick and publish a home map to be played in the later rounds. The higher seed gets to pick their home map first, tell the opponent and the lower seed will proceed to pick their home map afterward. When the maps have been chosen, the civilization draft can begin.
Civilizations Drafting
Civilizations will be chosen using captains mode.
While hosting a draft, use the option Lynx BO3.

Single Elimination Stage
All rounds in the single elimination stage are Bo5 (Best of 5) and will be played on the following 6 maps.
Game 1: This game will always be played on Sandy Crater.
Game 2: The map will be chosen by the losers of game 1.
Game 3: The map will be chosen by the winners of game 1.
Game 4: The map will be chosen by the losers of game 1.
Game 5: The map will be chosen by the winners of game 1.
Before the civilization draft, each team will have to pick and publish a home map to be played in the later rounds. Game Rules
1. In every round, each team will be granted one restart. A restart must be requested no later than 5 in-game minutes into the game. Games that are restarted must be included when uploaded the recorded games later. Civilizations will remain the same after a restart.
2. A game is considered lost for a team as soon as one of the players resigns the game. However, if one player is defeated, the other player is allowed to play on.
3. If a player starts with a bugged map, the team may decide to restart the game. This will not use up their one allowed restart per round. A restart must be called no later than 5 in-game minutes into the game. Because of the diversity of the maps, a bugged map varies from map to map. A map will always be considered bugged if there is trapped starting sheep or boars. Furthermore - personal (a resource that belongs to the player) berries, stone and gold piles with less than 4 sides to gather from is considered a bugged map.
4. All mods (except data mods) from the Steam Workshop are allowed.
5. On nomad style maps, town centers in range of each other will not trigger an automatic restart. However, intentionally waiting for your opponent to settle a town center and abuse the Persian town center HP for a town center war is prohibited. A situation like this will be judged by the staff.
6. Town centers spawning in range of each other on normal maps will result in an automatic restart.
7. On nomad style maps, villager wars are forbidden until the player you are attacking has his first town center fully constructed.
8. Intentionally laming straggler trees of your opponents is not allowed.
