Reminds me of the chicken game theory: "A chicken game is a game theory set up that typically decribes two players heading toward each other. baobabRealistically no one is in a losing position though. 1 player can maybe win if the other player isn't there. That's not a winning position.
Well 1 player will eventually have to sleep, so Ruben is the only one with any victory condition, while Andre has none
LokaloWell after they both lost monasteries(only their income) Andre asked multiple times to do 1v1 villager fight, but Ruben refused, which makes me vote for Andre is right. Now people talking about how Ruben can kite castle and so on, but during this time Andre lost like 25 berserkers and lots of vills just out of boredom, that was not a case 2 hours in a game.
So basically instead doing 1v1 kind of RNG vill fight it became 24h hour.
As for growth both players benefited and is great for them.
Although in my opinion this record is meaningless. I mean people can count it and stuff, but it says nothing, they both were sleeping during this game. I mean it is not exactly same, but if we count "playing longest game" record even if players sleeping, then I can turn on my old laptop find another person and keep it from maintanance to maintanance. But probably both going with it due their chanels grew a lot, I guess using an opportunity and that's most likely what they supposed to do. Just that record itself is really meh.

If I wait for everyone to go AFK in my games I would also have a win condition.
Right. but hoping your opponent goes AFK is not a valid victory condition. Andre has researched the correct tech to prevent Ruben from winning.

DerEsserAndre still has a winning condition as well. If Rubenstock fails to destroy Andre's castles and looses all his army and villagers in the process, Andre should be able to take out Rubenstock's castle with his remaining berserker and 3 villagers (because Rubenstock hasn't researched murder hole).
