RTS: Season 25

RTS League group stage is nearing its end and the time has come to summarise the events so far before we plunge into the thrilling playoff. The biggest front-runners have infallibly ended up at the top of their division ladders, nevertheless they too have lost some points in the process and thus failed to keep a clean sheet.[READMORELINKDOTS]

One of the first surprises accompanying season 25 are the rather unknown clans Frog and UsK which so far seem to dominate division 1 without any difficulties while Gaucho have been pushed back to 4th place. Unfortunately, clan LoS – once having [RVK]RiuT on the team, back then known as [LoS]LeiN - dropped out at the start of the season making the journey to the top spots of division 1 considerably easier for the others.

The lead position of division 2 has been seized by RoR with the total of 22 points, who have only stumbled once – with AZTK 1:1. Following RoR are Indus, DyT and the famous clan HyM which has yet to prove its legendary teamwork in action – the match HyM vs RoR should take place before long. HyM have also suffered an admin loss which has been weighing them down in the ladder. However, there is still chance of recovery.

RVK have successfully climbed to the top of division 3, yet even they have made some mistakes in their ascent. VN, who stand only 4 points below, have managed to win one of the maps and the match ended in a tie. The other 2 teams most likely to advance so far look to be LobosR and CL\'s, but there are still some matches to be played and we can therefore expect comebacks.

Division 4 has been conquered by the newfounded clan Viper, but even this team has had its bad days. The runner-up of the division LKC have managed to bring the venomous Viper down in round 6 and thus tarnish its otherwise clean sheet. Arg and TOAO, while losing to Viper, have managed to secure 3rd and 4th spot and thus hopefully obtaining tickets to play-off.

Although we may still have to wait until play-off is here, its finalists will undoubtedly strive to attain the championship with all their might. RVK, the winners of season 24 and runner-ups of season 23 are expected by many to claim the title again. However some believe we might be surprised by the new and unknown clans such as Viper or Frog.
