The final round has come to its end and brought fame and glory to the promising Brazilian star. [RVK]RiuT has finally risen to the top after claiming many 2nd and 3rd places in numerous tournaments, namely Master of the Huns and Gods of War tournament in 2009, where he also lost to Cain.[READMORELINKDOTS]
Surprisingly, the first impressions in BCC 3 League Stage were not so auspicious, after losing to Cain in round 1, RiuT could afford no further mistakes. The most crucial turning point in his ascend to victroy was undoubtedly defeating DauT in round 3. Having seen the Serbian legend's gamestyle, many predicted him to be the Champion this season. However, upon facing RiuT it seemed like his every move was foreseen and every weakness (although many claim he has none) exploited. DauT lost 2:5 and his vistas started to look bleak. Both DauT and RiuT lost only one match and would have been equal in the lead, but DauT's defeat was decisive in determining the ultimate winner and he will therefore have to settle for 2nd prize.
The other spots in the League stage table were successfully filled by Tim who after beating Cain managed to secure 3rd place; Cain, descending to 4th but still honourable place, dogao in 5th place and Alive ending up in 6th place. Despite the fact that Cain, dogao and Alive obtained the last spots, Brazilian colours certainly dominated the tournament and RiuT's victory means a great success for this country. Moreover, it will be most interesting to see if Brazilians manage to win the Nations Cup again in 2011.
Last but not least, though you may be thinking the time of great recorded games is over with the league stage finished, there is still a match to be played. This season, for the 1st time, Legion Clan will hold a Dream Team match in which the 4 top-placed players (RiuT, DauT, Tim and Cain) and 2 voted ones will play in 3vs3 format. Let us hope it will bring some good records and a nice conclusion to the Brain Champion Cup 3.
