We are late, we know. The speculation and discussions have been going on for quite a while now, but we are finally happy and excited to share the definitive list of players invited for the Red Bull Wololo V LAN event in Heidelberg Castle in Germany.

Champions: Liereyy, DauT
Challengers: TheViper, Hera, Vinchester, ACCM, Villese, Nicov, MbL, TaToH.

Unfortunately, Mr_Yo will not be able to attend and travel to Germany as we had hoped and planned for due to COVID-19 safety reasons. On a more positive note, he will be replaced by TaToH instead. The above contenders will also be accompanied by the two fantastic players winning the qualification stage - JorDan and slam.

I also want to quickly mention that the method by which players were invited is to be showcased and explained at a later date.

Sad that Mr Yo wasn't able to make it, but this line-up is still really strong, glad ACCM is now confirmed as well.

Can't wait for them to play on LAN!

Yes, really sad that Dogao and Mr. Yo won´t be on the tournament, even fully vaccinated.

I don't see why we can't have a stage in China and Brazil for Yo and Dogao. Still a pretty solid lineup all things considering.... Let's see how good aoe4 is now after all this promotion.

There probably are a bunch of arguments why he can't and a few why he could. Probably more for why it'd be a bad idea imo.

Was Yo actually unable to make it or was it more an issue of the costs on the other side being too high? As I understood it the primary issue was not getting into Germany but having to spend two or three weeks self-isolating in a hotel once returning to China.

Yes exactly, even if YO would have gotten the Visa it's the cost of quarantine in a hotel along with food from the hotel, that's significant.

Can total up to 7500 for 3 weeks, I'm sure redbull said naah, when tatoh comes for almost free in comparison

You have to order from hotel food service rather than getting delivery? The number seems a little high even with hotel food tbh, that is like 350 a day.

Personally can't think of one that outweighs having a top-3 player miss the event altogether.

Well he was top8 in first and second RBW, top12 in RBW3, this year top4 in AoC…he is top8 in tournament elo so probably mix of those
