No Intro can be done through steam by adding SKIPINTRO into the Start parameters of the game. No need for a mod. (unless you use Microsoft Store 11)
How is "No more plants" not mandatory to you?

Using No Intro mod and not the launch parameter is actually helpful.

Devs break mod with every update and that intro movie works as a reminder that mods are broken again and need to be manually enabled again. I hope devs stop doing it but I doubt they will

Just use the parameter but also use the "Old Main Menu" mod

Devs will stop doing that when the average player will remember that if the game doesn't launch after an update, it's not the devs fault but some mod you have to turn off yourself.

Until then, devs disable all mods so that players can't accuse them for that.

You might not remember, but that is exactly what happened after DE launch when the devs didn't disable all mods on updates.

What about a pop-up who say : Your mods have been disabled? Would you like to turn them on?

"OK" - > go to mods selection
"Cancel" - > stay on main menu

That would require UI changes, and we all know thats impossible for DE, we're even stuck with this garbage main menu structure..

At least turning on mods nowadays doesn't take multiple minutes with that impossibly long lag after clicking one...

this one confused me a lot 11 . I was used to the lag, first I thought something was broken, when there was no "lag-feedback" after your click.
