We are extremely proud to announce the second season of the highly anticipated Rage Forest tournament, a Black Forest team game tournament, featuring 16 Team Captains who pick from over 200 players in a unique draft system fighting for a $5,000++ prize pool!

We have a few basic requirements to sign up for Drunken Forest:
- Must have Discord. This will be used for in-game/pre-game communication and scheduling
- Mic and basic understanding of English
- PC specs to support late game 4v4 BF
- A stable connection
ALL participants, including Tier 1 captains, MUST REGISTER ON AOEZONE, EVEN if you have previously spoken to a tournament administrator. This is to ensure that you have read the rules and format of the tournament.
T O U R N A M E N T S T R U C T U R E
The tournament format will be single elimination best of 5 matches, including the Grand Final
There will be 16 teams, each comprising of 6 players: 1 Tier 1 Captain, 1 Tier 2 player and 2 players from each remaining tier. A lower tier player can not be replaced by a higher tier player (A team must always consist of at least one Tier 4 player).
D R A F T D A Y
Our signature Draft Day is one of the most fun parts of the tournament. All captains will be on voice chat live streamed on Twitch as they pick their roster using a snake draft format.
The lowest seeded captain picks first in round 1 and 3, and other seeds follow suit in a snake format. At the end of Draft Day, we will have 16 teams with 1 player from Tier 1 and Tier 2, and 2 players each from Tier 3 and Tier 4.
P R I Z E P O O L
The current prize pool is $5,000 sponsored by Villiams, Roggy, INeedMoney, SeanT and other BF community members.
All donations go 100% to the prize pool. We are paying out of pocket for all tournament costs. Please contact Villiams if you are interested in contributing to the tournament

R U L E S / S E T T I N G S
Civ Draft
Team Captains will pick a pool of 17 civs at the start of the round with no bans and no snipes. New DLC civs are currently NOT going to be used until further notice

The drafting of civs is very important as no civ can be repeated and players can only choose from the 17 civs that their captain picks.
If the series goes to Game 5 (tied 2-2), it is open pick - the teams will pick any civ of their choice, no repeats within the same team
This includes a high degree of teamwork and strategy development before the round begins. For example, the teams have to decide which players use which civs in which positions depending on their enemy teams and enemy civs. The best prepared teams going into the round will have a strategic advantage!
Game Rules
- No restarts (with some exceptions stated in the rules).- Laming is allowed, vill fights are encouraged.
- No slinging others before you are in the Imperial Age. You may receive sling at any age.
PRE-LOBBY SETTINGS:
Visibility: PublicPlayers: 8
Set Password: (Up to the host)
Allow Spectators: YES.
Hide civs: YES
Spectator Delay: 3 minutes. (Can be reduced if both team-captains agree upon it except for the final round)
Server: Agree on the best suitable server amongst all players playing that specific match.
Data Mod: Definitive Set.
PLAYER STREAMING:
Players may stream the games as they play. It is up to the team captains to inform the other team if they want them to stream with a stream delay (up to max 4 minutes).
SLINGING:
Slinging before Imperial Age is strictly forbidden. It is up to the losing team to check the recording and report abuse before the next round has started (games being played). Verified pre Imperial Age slinging will result in admin loss.
DROPS AND DISCONNECTS:
Ultimately, disconnects are at the discretion of the players. Please use your best efforts to restore games as soon as a disconnect occurs, however, if a full restore is not possible, it is up to the other team to decide if they want to restart the game.If a drop occurs at the start before the map and positions are revealed (0:00 game time or loading screen), then a restart shall be allowed.
