Team A bans Mayans, Team B bans Aztecs
Team A picks Mongols
Team B picks Incas
[...] each team picks 5 civs this way, in an ABBA... order. This will be Pool 1 for each team.
Team A picks Vietnamese for Team B's Pool 2
Team B picks Saracens for Team A's Pool 2
[...] this way, teams pick 5 civs for the opponent's Pool 2.
Every match, a team has to use one civ from its Pool 1, and one from its Pool 2.
There are 31 civs, out of which 2 are banned, then there are 29 left out of which 4x7 = 28 will get picked.And when it is BO7? you have to use 2 civs twice?

So no reason to use civs twice
[...] this way, teams pick 5 civs for the opponent's Pool 2.
Please give a fully explained example.
Questions ; pool 2 in different for each team? If so you are forced to use every civ from this pool, right? And when it is BO7? you have to use 2 civs twice?
Also I think it is wisely to add ingame rules aswell
So if the score is 2-0 for team A, does that mean that the next map will be team B's second homemap? I suggest you change it to loser of previous map instead of the losing team to avoid the situation where teams run out of homemaps.After every match, the losing team's upcoming home map will be played next.
This seems really harsh, maybe it would be possible to sling once you reach Imperial Age? I think this still eliminates all sling strategies, but makes supporting your teammate when you have spare resources possible, which I don't think is a problemMap pool will mostly include land maps, with slinging disabled.
What happens if they can't make it? How will the 8th team be decided?Daut + Slam Pending
How will the replacement team be decided?We agree that if on any reason my team cannot field at least 2 players for a match during the tournament, the team can be replaced by another one.
How will the groups be decided?In the qualifier group stage, each group consists of four teams, with the two teams getting the highest points getting into the main event.
How will the teams be seeded?The main event of the tournament will feature 8 teams at maximum, with a single-elimination bracket
What happens if there's a three-way tie? And what are the settings for the tiebreaker?In the event of equal points within a group, Tiebrakers will be held after the group-stage qualifiers.
Ok it's nitpicking time!
Typo's:
- Do you have an estimated schedule? Like at around what times which games be played. I think it will be useful for teams as they can guess if they can make those times or if it's in the middle of the night for them. Obviously you don't have to provide a thorough schedule yet before you know who will all be playing, but an estimation would help I think.
- Also when will the qualifiers be played? Since it's around the holiday period this would be quite important information as well. Will they be played at the same time or after each other?
- So if the score is 2-0 for team A, does that mean that the next map will be team B's second homemap? I suggest you change it to loser of previous map instead of the losing team to avoid the situation where teams run out of homemaps.
- And how does the map draft work? I assume team A bans 1, team B bans 1, then pick ABBAAB?
- How is it decided who is team A and who is team B?
- This seems really harsh, maybe it would be possible to sling once you reach Imperial Age? I think this still eliminates all sling strategies, but makes supporting your teammate when you have spare resources possible, which I don't think is a problem
- What happens if they can't make it? How will the 8th team be decided?
- How will the replacement team be decided?
- How will the groups be decided?
- Also I think a GSL-style group stage would be better than a Round Robin, as there can't be games that are meaningless and you can't have drama if a team played serious or not after they already qualified. Draws are also impossible and the games are more exciting because there is more on the line.
- How will the teams be seeded?
- What happens if there's a three-way tie? And what are the settings for the tiebreaker?
Links are also still missing for some topics that are already made.
- A team may not consist more than 3 people. -> A team may not consist of more than 3 people.
- Daut, Slam, Heartt, Saymyname, TaToh, JorDan -> DauT, slam, Hearttt, saymyname, TaToH, JorDan_23
- Tiebrakers -> Tiebreakers
- anonymus -> anonymous
- subscibers -> subscribers

I thought you meant that the team that was losing would keep getting homemaps if they kept losing, but it seems I misunderstood.Not sure if I understand your point. I think it should be only problematic in the Qualifiers. But in that case, it should be like Game 1/Loser from G1 home/Winner from G1 home/Loser from G3 home/Winner for G3 home.
