Price for Best TG of the Year

Men, i love TG and 4-4 specially. people say that are messy, and cant watch everything, so what?
And today we had a demonstration of why. there are a lot of games to come, but today was epic.
4-4 between AM and WWP, was for the ages, back and forth, back and forth. It was not played perfect, but that was the best.
you can notice that players, specialy AM with new civs didnt know what to do, what units build, or what tech to research. but they hang and hang, specially MBL. they also could win but i dont know how WWP resist. Mr. Yo played like no tomorrow. awesome game.
then 4-4 GL vs Suomi, another game really good. tons of fights, tons of units. diferent aproach by both teams. diferent strategies. really good game. the 3-3 also a really entertainment game. with a lot of action, any team could win.
now BoA is coming, and I know that is 3-3. it will be really interesting to have a 4-4 tournament like BoA.
AM-GL-Suomi seems a bit ahead of WWP in 3-3. Also baguetes will be in the mix. But in 4-4, think WWP can chalenge any team.

yeah the games yesterday where sick man. i also think that nili + ornlu is a great casting duo you now. i enjoyed that elefant tournament a lot man.

honestly i think u are wrong, WWP holded because Mr Yo played like a best and because they had much better civilizs, you would never see in 4v4 the civlizs that aM picked, at least that you force them.

And in 2nd series, sling powa made the diference, without sling GL would have won pretty clear, but as people like to say, sling is part of the game.

yes AM picked weird civs, but WWP made excelent decisions. and also is true that mr yo played like a god. but well, he is in that team. the 4-1 on hera in castel, the presion on mbl from feudal till imperial, the waiting to kill the army from lierey and nicov when they hit imperial and almost kill lyx. wwp also set the trade better. i think they can chalenge everybody. obviously they must fix some things.

in the suomi vs gl, the key for me was the trade. because in some moment, gl had more army, but they cant replace it, specially daut. think that map was in favour to rubenstock because it is played on DM sometimes. and he knows how to trade better.

dont want to be repetitive, BUT, in second day, both 4-4 were amazings. for me the best games from the 2 series. Specially the suomi vs baguetes. did you see that 4-4?? men what a show. flanks go archers, but middle were elephants, knights, shribimsha and camels. it was a unit salad. back and forth. lots of units in close map, lots of fights.
i must say that the first 2-2 and the 3-3 in suomi vs baguetes were awesome too.

I'm not sure, if that's the reason. MbL went pretty much full Skirms the first 50 minutes and also Hera was just spamming Hussar (without -25% food tech for quite a while). I'm very confident there's more to get out of those civs for teamgames ;-)

I would probably still agree that WWP civs were better, but not by as much as it looked like.

Best TG of the year so far was probably Baguettes-Suomi on Colosseum in ROTC
