Potential UK Cup 2

Hi guys

I'm thinking about possibly hosting a UK Cup 2 if there is enough interest and putting some money into it, probably £100.
If ya'll from the UK feel like playing then make some noise in this thread, if enough people want to play i'll think about trying to organise something though I've never organised a tournament before so it may be a disaster but we'll see.

Sure they can play, I wont have the same restrictions. Anyone who from in the UK or Republic of Ireland is eligible to sign up. I know that the Republic of Ireland is not part of the UK before everyone gets triggered but don't see a reason to not allow them to play.

Hmm that would be quite a lot, i'd have to learn about the history of the empire. I think for the sake of simplicity i'll keep it to people in the UK (and Republic of Ireland)

3. Everyone has their own feelings, if someone from Scotland doesn't want to sign up they don't have to but I wont penalize all Scottish people for that.

Indeed but I don't know all of the countries that were involved is what I mean. It is never a topic that I was able to study at school. We learnt about communist Russia and nazi Germany.

I'm afraid that having the Queen as the head of state is not enough old chap. You guys can do another straya tournament though. I may decide to do international tournaments in the future, this is more of a test run. Plus I need to win so I can prove my overwhelming dominance as an alpha specimen over the other UK players.

I agree. And... anyone thought about a tourney with every champion of his National Tourney? I think a good idea but of course would need a lot of effort.

BTW, if you can do it, go for it. Don't be afraid, you will learn how to carry a tourney. I'm not an expert ofc but I offer you my help if you need something.

There is no skill requirement to signing up, it should be fun. I have a couple of ideas in mind but if there is enough interest to do this I will have to talk to more knowledgeable people about administrating and setting up forums, dealing with scheduling etc.

@gerry Time zone difference + lag are reasons why I wont be accepting that request but if you want to play on Voobly I am on most days, recently i've been using my nick Kerghan do i'll happily dominate you in some 1v1
