I have decided to host another Nomadness tournament, but this time it will be a 3v3 tournament.
Rules will be similar to the previous Nomadness tournament, but there will be a few small changes (still working on them).
I am pretty sure I am going to do 4 groups of 8 teams each, in a group stage. The top 4 teams from each group will enter the match stage of the tournament. (At this point I am thinking that only the top ranked 32 teams will be accepted into this tournament -- but I may consider adding more teams if the sign ups warrant it -- this is yet to be determined). I will try to split the groups up as best i can, so that there are a good mix of teams of various skills, but of course it will never be a perfect split. In the end, you must be one of the top 4 teams to advance.
The group stage will be BO3 (but all wins/loses will count toward determining the top 4 from each group), but once the Match stage begins, it will be BO5. The semi finals and finals will be BO7.
The Match stage will feature a winners bracket and a losers bracket.
You can sign up from now until sign ups are closed on May 7th. Tournament will begin on May 8th, 2016.
To sign up please reply in this thread with your team NAME, your three (or four) voobly names and ratings. The tournament is open to everyone.
You will schedule games in the provided forums, and once an agreed upon time is set, that time must be honored. Failure to do so may result in the an admin loss. (I may still set an admin time if no agreement is reached -- i'm thinking about this still).
At this point prize money is NOT set. I am hoping to have the prize money between $500 - $1000 usd. If you are someone who wishes to donate I will figure out how to do this in the easiest way soon.
So find two or three partners, practice your nomad team strategies and get ready for a fun and exciting tournament.
Memb will be streaming most of the matches live (or recorded games), as he is the official caster for this tournament.
Thx and I look forward to many of you signing up.

Settings Must be as Follows:
Game: Random Map
Map Style: Standard
Location: Nomad
Size: Medium (6 player)
Resources: Standard
Pop: 200
Reveal Map: Standard
Victory: Conquest
You must also check the following boxes:
Team Together
Lock Teams
Record Game
Civilization Choice: As noted above - be 100% careful to follow the rules.
Color choice: You can choose any color so long as the six players come to some agreement.
HOW TO CALL A RESTART: This is how you must go about it -- you must pause the game and inform your opponents that you wish to call for a restart. So long as the game has not advanced to 5:01, on the game clock then you are able to do so. Let me also make it perfectly clear that if you do NOT pause the game, and you do NOT let the other team know that you wish to call a restart, you may be penalized by an ADMIN with a loss for that map.
Rules during gameplay:
You are NOT allowed to interfere in any way with an enemy player during the first 5 minutes of the game. (Even if a villager walks under your tc in this time frame you cannot kill him or impede his movement) -- NOTE: At 5:01 this rule is not in effect and the same goes for all rules that disallow certain things to happen during the first 5 minutes.
You are NOT allowed to build any type of wall, house, or structure within 10 spaces from an enemy town center during the first 5 minutes of the game.
You are NOT allowed to lame any deer in the first 5 minutes of the game.
You are NOT allowed to kill any boars during the first 5 minutes of the game, except if you intend to harvest the boar yourself for food. (in other words, you may NOT palisade yourself in and kill a boar, simply to deny your opponent from using it)
You are NOT allowed to wall in a dock building villager of an enemy player during the first 5 minutes of the game.
You are NOT allowed to take or kill sheep if they are clearly walking with a villager. The player who controls the sheep first will be considered the owner of those sheep. However, if the sheep are not being shepherded by a villager, they are free for the taking.
However, you ARE allowed to build palisade walls, houses, lumber camps, mills and town center anywhere you wish during the first 5 minutes of the game if you are not intentionally trying to be malicious.
BUT... ONCE 5 Minutes of game play has elapsed, (at minute 5:01) you can do anything you wish to do!
In those cases where the interference is of an accidental nature (ie. you did not see the enemy tc, or did not notice an enemy vill) and you can rectify the situation by returning the sheep or deleting the palisade, then the game can continue on if the injury has been made right. However, if you did not see the enemy tc when you built your house, but it ends up being within 10 spaces of the enemy tc -- several things may happen. 1. If the enemy is OK with the house as it does not really impede their game play, they can just choose to ignore the rule infraction and the game must proceed as normal. 2. If the enemy is NOT OK with the house and is within their rights to force you to delete the house, then that also triggers a few more options. 1. You can delete your house and decide to keep playing the game (being down a house or part of a house) or 2. You can call for a restart because you are now at a disadvantage through no fault of your own (and please note that this does not affect the regular amount of restarts you have per match.)
However, if you are caught obviously disregarding these rules by purposely trying to interfere with an opposing player, the game MUST be restarted and you will receive a warning. If at any time during the tournament you receive a 2nd warning, an admin win will be given to the opposing team for that map. If you ever receive a 3rd warning, you will simply be kicked out of the tournament for your disregard for fair play.
Scheduling games:
You have a full 7 days in which to play your matches. All games must be scheduled in the provided forums, and agreements to a specific day and time (including the time zone) must be clear. Then if one team is a no show at that time, the other team may receive an admin win unless there are exceptional circumstances which prevented a team from being able to come. (ie. internet connection has gone down, storm has knocked out power, wife has gone into labour, grandma has died -- you get the idea). Tournament admins will make the decisions on a case by case basis.
Note: If your opponents do not show up at the agreed upon time, please wait 20 mins to make sure that they aren't just running a few minutes late. But if they do not show up in those 20 mins then please reply in the scheduling forum that they did not show up and you can request an ADMIN win for that match. If they have a legitimate reason for missing the scheduled start time, they may try to reschedule the match -- however, if the match cannot take place because no times can be made to work, then the team which was a no show will still get admin loss.
When is it necessary to contact an admin?
If both teams come to an agreement about the game in question as regards the rules, and wish to continue the games then the teams may do so. However, you may NOT request an admin win or admin restart after having agreed to continue the match, and then since you lost, you decide to request admin help. If there is a problem that you cannot resolve between the two teams, the match must be paused until an admin has been contacted about the problem. The Admin will then make a decision based upon their best interpretation of the rules and the match may then be continued. I am hopeful that an admin will often be around immediately, but I cannot promise that at this point. If no admin is present please do your best to resolve the dispute by consulting the rules and making your decisions as best you can.
