I think Viper suggested that there should be an option in RM that the game gives you a list of maybe 10 civs and then you pick from those. I liked the idea as it creates challenges and diversion while you still can go for a civ that you like.
Here is a little tool that you can use to do that exact thing.
Simply click "Pick another item".
I put the number of civs on 7 per pick but you can change it down there (number of items to pick).
Also you may put "allow duplicates" on and have the challenge that you have to pick a civ if you get it double.
