AOE-II Personal top 3 of memorable AoC moments

I don't think this topic has ever been made in the long history of AoC. So the time has come to refresh our memories. What is your top 3 of memorable AoC moments. It can be any noteworthy moment as long as it is related to AoK, AoC or its other expansions. There might be many more so try to size them down to three.

My personal top 3:
1) Bo21 between Viper and Jordan, where Jordan came out as the winner in the very last game. Very close and exciting games.
2) The new expansion 'Rise of the Rajas'. Gotta love everything about this expansion.
3) The surprising return of Arch_Koven after more than a decade of absolute rustiness.

Honorable mentions: spectator mode, Twitch streaming, increased screen resolutions, new map contests

My top was when they announced HD and I discovered there was an AoC community.

Second best was when I tried voobly and it ran way better than HD.

The $50k Microsoft tourney. The final was ****, with Grunt rolling over Kaohen with ease, but the hype was crazy.

Early WCL's. Despite some horrible administration (mainly the unfair rulings against Chinese teams due to lag and Chris crying), these events were the pinnacle of aoc to me. Being the loser that I was , I watched every single recorded game, even I. The early stages with noob teams. Being a member of BsK, it was great seeing the success of our teams.

Tyrant. Seeing Grunt, Halen, Kkab and Daut playing together and dominating, and later seeing Chris cry again because he wasn't invited to join was a pleasure to watch.

Bonus 4th moment. Bo21s. Chris vs Daut was my favourite, Daut was a monster at this time. I loved his style at this stage, letting Chris go full aggression while Daut just sits at home and booms with no military. It was beautiful to watch. Also Viper vs Jordan going right down to the wire with an epic game 21.

jordan winning bo21 vs viper (who is thought to be the best player in the history of aoc), thereby proving that he is better than viper, and then leaving aoc because he there are no worthy opponents.

For all that I love competitive top-level AoC, I have to go with more personal things.

(1) Killing the Swiss in Nations Cup with triple landing strat in 3v3 Islands. The best mixture of competition and fun with friends I've experienced in AoC.

1) halen x iamken: a wcg final which halen won by a very little score margin. It wasn't conquest.
2) arch_vile x matador or korean2003 (can't remember): the biggest comeback I've ever seen.
3) the sheriff smush.

Honorable mentions for bruh usage of eagle warriors in a comeback game by Brazil on the last nations cup.
Pl peel winning a 2x1 vs falcao and another Brazilian.
Arch_vile killing a king in a already lost 2x3 arena rigicide.
The sheriff massing mass cav archers for the first time in a 4x4
Ruso nearly killing daut with Spanish vills. But his keyboard ran out of batteries.

I think the early days can't be emotionally matched because i was a teen

1) When Halen was back in 2004 and then won WCL (i was such a big fan back then)
2) Daut deleting vill at start and owning DreaIVIs after DreaIVIs claimed out loud Daut was the weak link of his team in forums (Yeah the only time i loved Daut). WCL 6 days
3) I remember in early 2004 or late 2003 if im right, when Chris comeback very rusty and entered RR with his highest rated ID and challenged Daut. He losed like 10-1 in fast games, but he beated Capoch some games and Capoch killed Daut some games. It was so weird to see 2500 nicks playing rr when the very best at the time you could see were 2200s, aoc was so ****ing dead on those days. I was happy to see Chris some months, maybe a year later become 1ª in some sort of Rocky comeback, i thought he was over and that he could never beat Daut and i was his fan also back then.

Probably not the best but the ones that come to my mind

3) SY nations cup 2, I played in NL B, the best team of the entire tourney, sadly we were dead last. (I did kill little Yo on bedouins though 8-) )

1) There was a game between jordan and viper, i think it was arabia or some mostly-land map. Jordan was huns and viper had mayans. Jordan applied pressure from all sides to a walled mayan player and not any player, it was viperinho. In the end jordan took the win. It was memorable for me firstly because it was an important match of an exciting series. Secondly i think it is maybe the most brillant agressive play i have ever seen.

Can anyone help me to find the game i talk about ? :roll:

2) Widescreen avalilability, because i really wanted to buy it but i didnt had the money to spend on it

3) The day I beat Viper on arabia byzantines war, it was my first 1v1 game against him and that made it more spectatcular for me .
