Only Land Cup $2000 - Tournament Announcement

Official Announcement

We are happy to announce the first international edition of the Only Land Cup tournament, hosted by Tutu's Asylum, with $2000 Cash Prize and which, as its name suggests, will stand on a land map pool.

The event will take place from May 26 and will end on the weekend of
July 3.

One match will be played per week with free programming except for the semi-finals (July 2) and finals (July 3) which will be held live.

The qualifications will be held during the week of May 15 to 22.


Prize Pool


A big thank you to Tcherno who finances the entirety of this tournament.

The CP of $2000 is distributed as follows:

• $750 for the first

• $500 for the second

• $350 for the third

• $200 for the fourth

• $50 for 5-8th


Map Pool

The first game must be played on Arabia.

The rest of the map pool consists of:

• Acclivity

• Arena (MoA)

• Habob

• Mired (WWC)

• SandForest

• Sacred Springs

• Socotra

• Volcanic Swamp

•Wade

• Wings

• Winters clearing

• Xerotes


The map pack is created and maintained by Wolf Silver under the name “Only Land Cup Mappack”


Registrations

16 players will already be qualified for the final phase. The 4 French players who reached the semi-finals of the Only Land French Cup tournament as well as the 12 players with the highest Elo max in 1vs1 RM during registration.

Nevertheless, the tournament remains open to all the best players in the world through a qualification phase which will see 16 qualifiers complete the main draw. The next 32 best Elo max will be selected to take part in the qualifications and play a qualifying match.

The Elo used for the seeding of the qualifications is the maximum Elo reached in RM 1v1 on the evening of the closing of registrations.

The Elo retained for the seeding of the Main Event is calculated according to the following formula: Elo tournament (⅔) + Elo max (⅓)

Casting

The event will offer fully open streaming, as long as the rules and conditions of streaming are respected, except in French where I grant myself the exclusivity to cast each match.

Regarding POV, the event will offer fully open streaming until the quarter-finals, as long as the streaming rules and conditions are respected.

I was hoping for Land Nomad, it's been so long since it has been seen in tournaments :'(.
Seems like a great event, will be interesting to watch!
