Nomad Warriors - $750 1v1 'WW Nomad' Event

Hello all! The first edition edition of Nomad Wars was a great success with PROject_Belgium taking the crown and Nomad Wars Duos raising $1.1k for homelessness in Glasgow.

I am now happy to announce the next event of Nomad Wars - Nomad Warriors! A single map 96 player 1v1 event that utilises the WW - Nomad script from Wandering Warriors Cup. Just like WWC we will be using similar settings i.e single elimination and the most played civ of the previous round will be banned for the remainder of the tournament.

The prize pool currently sits at a nice $500, with aims of achieving $750. If you’re interested in donating to the prize pool, please get in touch. Contributors so far are myself, poips, SapientFez, Huggieg + some smaller donations from community members. The prize pool will split with:

1st = $330

2nd = $170

3rd and 4th = $75 each

5th, 6th, 7th and 8th = $25 each

The event will start on Thursday the 30th of June and always the main event will be open to all and will be the money league, I will be running sub brackets for lower elo. Sign ups will be open from June 1st until Tuesday the 28th of June, with brackets released on Wednesday the 29th.

For the main event the top 32 seeded players will receive a bye and players seeded from 33-96 will need to qualify in order to make the final 64. The qualifiers are expected to be completed on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July.

This will be used for official communication between the tournament organiser and the players. It’s absolutely imperative that players 1) join the discord and 2) don’t leave the discord during or after signing up. If you do so, you risk your sign up being rescinded as you may miss vital communication and updates.

So far in this B tier tourney we have ACCM, classicpro, TaToH, Capoch, BacT, F1re, PROject_Belgium (C), Running, saymyname, DauT, FreakinAndy, bruh, rmcoo, TheBloodless, Survivalist.

In fact, the cut off for the top 32 and the first round bye is now at 2k level. I'd love to extend an invite to any more 2k plus players to come to this B tier tourney and farm points for their ATP ranking. It looks super easy!
