so 10k vs 6k with a 100k tournament??? when is the funeral??
If viewer count were an indication of how long a game can survive, Aoe2 should be a ghost. I prefer Aoe2 but this mentality is seriously not helping anyone.so 10k vs 6k with a 100k tournament??? when is the funeral??
It's like with transfers of young players in football world - you pay for the potential
- 100k tournament
- LAN + massive production investment
- Viewer count at Prime streaming time for EU and NA

rtmp://live.restream.io/pull/play_4902265_d4272666843491b80338I read somewhere a clean signal might be provided for casters perhaps. Did it happen? If so, does anyone know where to get it in order to stream this?
Thanks!
Thanks! Really appreciatedrtmp://live.restream.io/pull/play_4902265_d4272666843491b80338
you just have to put this link in OBS as a media source or open it in VLC and capture it.
for questions/help check clean feed channel: https://discord.com/invite/Ha7vZgtXYj (there is atleast tips for audio issues)
i assume you can also stream without that too.
Was it actually played on a LAN? Was it just called a LAN like Redbull 5 but played on online servers?
10-12k for the game of such quality is still insane. There seems to be a peak when stream started but for most part it was averaging around 10k-12k

Good Question.Did Nili find a way to make it challenging for the others (while claiming this is open streaming)? Or is there just literally no interest anymore for Aoe4?
Yes Memb "streamed" it for a few seconds, so the signal seems to be there.Good Question.
I doubt the first option, I think it was made even easier/better for others to stream the tournament.
It makes sense that f.e Memb doesn't stream it since there is enough aoe2 quality content right now (showmatch the last 3 days, Rotc today), but I would have expected f.e Lidakor to stream it.
Maybe there will be more streaming the Playoffs, maybe not, let's see.
What I remember is that the (years old) engine they used for aoe4 is made for modern warfare, where bullets don't miss (in an arrow-like way), so they basically just use arrow-graphics to mask the difference, but ofc no mechanic for them to "miss".Are arrows in this game are like heat seeking missiles? Whether it's Archers, buildings, boats they just don't miss.
Is this a feature or a bug?
Every aoe has had this since AoE3 (not sure about AoM), In AoEO you are somewhat able to dodge ship arrows with ships though. What I remember is that the (years old) engine they used for aoe4 is made for modern warfare, where bullets don't miss (in an arrow-like way), so they basically just use arrow-graphics to mask the difference, but ofc no mechanic for them to "miss".
