5.03-13.03 5 days swiss stage followed by KO rounds.Did he give a date? I'm presuming that gives the developers a strong incentive to deal with issues with the game. I'm not a zealot...if they make AOE4 as good as AOE2 I'll be happy. Albeit I've got more than 20 years of AOE2 under my belt so it's my true love
Claiming biggest prize pool in terms of MS funding for a game with lower playerbase, and it gets allocated to your own tournament. Interesting 11
Viper is also auto-invited after talking just couple days ago on Daut's stream about how he isn't playing aoe4 anymore, as the game isn't fun 11
that explains nili's dedication to aoe4 when even none of his teammates plays the game anymore 11Claiming biggest prize pool in terms of MS funding for a game with lower playerbase, and it gets allocated to your own tournament. Interesting 11

I think Nili said that Winter Series "is not really S-Tier"Claiming biggest prize pool in terms of MS funding for a game with lower playerbase, and it gets allocated to your own tournament. Interesting 11
Also qualifies after winning an S-Tier tournament on release week, meanwhile an S-Tier tournament is going on but the winner won't qualify.
He could just say *and the winner of Winter Series* or something along those lines. The way this looks, it's a massive disappointment, although he won't give two shits about my opinion 11
Just wait for Simonsan. He will explain how this is the most fair and balanced tournament ever. With absolutely no conflict of interest. He'll prove it with references and all. So if you disagree, you're just factually incorrect.now this is the fair and balanced tournament organizing i was talking about
Some context from Nili|I don't think that's the smartest move ever and it's likely going to bring so much drama and negativity.
1) MS sponsors 100k tournament (biggest MS sponsorship since 2001?) and it's the tournament baby of the people in charge of MS funds. Doesn't seem like a clash of interests at all.
2) Without choosing either game, all numbers are showing 1 thing - AoE IV is declining and it's already behind AoE II regarding viewers/players. So the solution is to drop extremelly huge prize pool for few players that qualify? I hope it's going to be at least 20k from the prize pool used for the players who won't qualify. Still wouldn't see the point why 8 players have to fight for 80k prize pool, but whatever.
3) Nili has a big say in handling MS funds. There's 100k. Do you know how many and which tournaments this could bring? Instead, it's all spent on N4C.. Awesome. So the tournaments featuring many top players like MoS 2 will stay community funded forever, when 1k would help a lot there. As MS spent 100k on AoE IV event.
4) I don't know about tournament calendar, as apparently very simple feature is taking 6 months for now. However, oGN is doing amazing job in the french community, he organized European Rumble, this year World Rumble. And you make N4C just at the same time as the Final weekend of his. Lovely.
I can't disclose the direct source where I know this from, I can tell you Red Bull paid the production, World Edge the Prize pool.are you saying that a tournament called Red Bull Wololo was sponsored by a company called Microsoft?
do you have any source on that?
