Tournament Proposal v4 (19 weeks):
Sign-ups: 16 Invited teams + 64 teams for QS (80 open slots in total)
Qualification Stage (2 weeks):
64 teams that were not invited are seeded by skill into a single-elimination play-off, which has two
rounds:
64 > 32 >16
16 teams advance to Second Stage
Second Stage (7 weeks)
16 teams that advanced from Qualification Stage + 16 invited teams: 32 teams in total.
These 32 teams are seeded (by skill and in case of the invited teams also by WCL 7 results) into
a double-elimination play-off (with Winner's bracket and Loser's bracket). Teams that lose in the
Winner's bracket "fall" into Loser's bracket. This stage takes 5 weeks to complete.
Winner Brackets: 32 > 16 > 8 > 4 > 2
Losers Brackets:
16 > 16 > 8 > 8 > 4 > 4 > 2
Two more rounds have been added to give teams a chance to get back to Winner Brackets.
2 Finalists of Winner's Bracket and 2 finalists of Loser's Bracket advance to Final Stage Pro and
become Pro Finalists.

Final Stage (10 weeks):
Final Stage has two seperate divisions, the Pro Division with 4 semifinalists of Winner's Bracket and the Fun Division with 4 semifinalists of Loser's bracket (If we use WCL 7 Final Stage Brackets as an example, TyRanT, CSC, L_Clan and RVK A would be in Pro Division; and VNS A, Immortals, poZ A and PoJ A would be in Fun Division).
Both Divisions proceed through Final Stage parallelly - simultanously and the same way but competing seperately. $12000 goes to the winners of Pro Division, while $3000 goes to the winners of Fun Division.
Pro Division:
Phase 1: Teamgame (3 weeks) - ($4800)
4 Pro Division Finalists play each other in round robin (AvsB, CvsD; AvsC, BvsD; AvsD, BvsC). Points determine the winners. 1st place $2880, 2nd place $1200, 3rd place $720
Phase 2: 2v2 Simultaneous League (3 weeks) - ($3600)
This phase contains two parallel 2v2 Leagues: Golden League and Silver League.
Each of the four Pro Division Finalists creates two teams, with two players each (An example would be Legion Clan create Team 1: Ruso+Alive, and Team 2: FeAge+Hani). The better team competes in 2v2 Golden League, and the other team competes in 2v2 Silver League. Which team goes to Golden League and which goes to Silver League is determined by admins after careful evaluation of the teams.
Golden League and Silver League are played simultaneously and use the same settings. $2520 goes to the winners of Golden League, $1080 of the prize goes to the winners of Silver League.
This phase takes 3 weeks to complete. Four 2v2 teams compete in a single-elimination play-off, with a 3rd place match included:

Grand Elimination Clash (GEC):
Grand Elimination Clash is a set of a minimal of 4, and a maximum of 7 best-of-5 matches.
Each team selects 4 players for every Grand Elimination Clash and then picks one of these players to begin the first best-of-5 match. The player who loses the match is eliminated from the Clash and their team proceeds by selecting another player to continue with the next best-of-5 match. The player who wins the match continues by playing the next best-of-5 match. Each player that is selected keeps playing until he is eliminated. The team that first runs out of players (by losing 4 times) loses the Clash. The overall score of the Clash can therefore be 4:0, 4:1, 4:2, or 4:3 same as in a regular best-of-7 match.
Each GEC (from 4 to 7 of best-of-5 matches) is given a total of 2 weeks to be completed. Each best-of-5 set of a GEC contains different maps and civilisations.
1st place receives $2160, 2nd place $900, 3rd place $540.
Fun Division:
It takes place simultanously with Pro Division and uses the same settings as Pro Division with one exception: 2v2 Silver League is not included in Phase 2, it only contains Golden League.
