Why? Lierrey is competing in Return of the Clans and even signed up for Rage Forest 3. Viper is still competing in RoTC and Masters of Socatra. There is no indication they won't sign up for future AoE2 tournaments.

MBL and Viper did not play in Nation's Cup 3 in 2017, but they did play in 2v2 World Cup in 2020 which was basically the same thing.
It will be interesting to see if Viper plays for Norway or Germany given that he has been living in Germany for 3 years making him potentially eligible to play as a German. Jordan/Viper would be OP OP

They played in 2v2 WC becoz they have a chance to win, in fact they were the favourites. Norway didnt have a good #3 player back then, let alone #4, the top teams were so stacked. Some people play for fun, some people play for victory.

And thats why I pointed out they have the best chance in winning ever, as theres skillyourself (22+) and kellar (21+) now.

Daut also doesnt really play in these tournaments becoz there arent good teammates.
