I will be interesting to see how the national teams of countries who got way stronger than in the past will do. India, Australia, Denmark or Netherlands for example have way stronger teams now. Some jumped from random 17/18+ to 2k1+ or even better.
I agree. When you look back 2 or 3 Nations cups, Australia, Netherlands and Belgium, but also Austria were not contenders for the top 16 or even top 32, but now they have become much stronger.I will be interesting to see how the national teams of countries who got way stronger than in the past will do. The biggest progress I see with Australia from 15x-17x tuna squad they made it to 185+-2k1 solid team. :-)Latvia has a potential for a 2k+ team, I almost included them in my list but thought the UK or Australia had better chances to make the top 32.
8th_wonder (2k2), klavskis (2k), Knifer (2k) and Mr_Full (2k) would be a decent team. However I think someone told me Knifer doesn't play anymore.
Greece has at least one 2k player and a bunch of 18xx so they could form a team for sure.
For Iceland I only know a 15-16xx player. Some people on Voobly have the Icelandic flag on their profiles but I doubt most of them are from Iceland. I did see someone watching a stream in my office when I was working there last spring though!

Isn't that your official team nickname? :-D At least that is what I can see in every topic you guys are involved.Who are you calling tunas??
They had a 3-player team less than a year ago in the 2v2 World Cup and with 4 2k+ players, why should they merge? 90 % of all other countries in the world have less good players. If their 1v1 rating translated to all-map TG rating they would be top 16. They will not be in the Gold League, but could be top 16 of the Silver League.I don't think latvia will form a team unless you allow them to merge with other baltic countries
What you fail to realise is that 8th wonder and knifer are very inactive at the moment, and me and full are just chilling, so it would require to pull preferably 8th wonder out of retirement to make a team which would need **** ton of practice to become decent on teamplay/chemistry, and that most likely will not happen. They had a 3-player team less than a year ago in the 2v2 World Cup and with 4 2k+ players, why should they merge? 90 % of all other countries in the world have less good players. I did not consider Knifer's activity, because I don't even know him much. But all assumptions here so far are only theoretical, because nobody knows yet about activity when the tournament starts or even the prize pool. What you fail to realise is that 8th wonder and knifer are very inactive at the moment, and me and full are just chilling, so it would require to pull preferably 8th wonder out of retirement to make a team which would need **** ton of practice to become decent on teamplay/chemistry, and that most likely will not happen.
