Funny, that there is 16 pages discussion about why having so many invitations is bad and there should be more than 1 spot. Leaving signing up until last days shows how interested players are to participate in big tournament. No surprice there is more invited players

I dont know about other countries, but qualifiers (QF -> Finals) are in the middle of Final Year exams.

Yep it's rough dates, the whole event is for students, for example belgium isn't applying cause of exam dates^^

It's not that I don't have time to play it. it's that NAC3 is happening when I have exams so there is no point signing up, also it is in the rules u shouldn't sign-up if you aren't available during those dates.

Where is Laaaan? Did he know? Some dont, have the VISA, some dont have the game, some may not be able on those days. There is no time for training also.

Damn I wonder why there are so few signups for a tournament that requires you to travel on very specific, short notice dates to a country you don't live in to spend time cramped in a small room with a bunch of smelly nerds. Absolutely shocked that this doesn't have hundreds of signups already
