Valas seems to be the new rising star that could be a solid top level player in the coming days.

there was a replacement qualifier in case some of the qualified or invited players can't make it to the LAN and Daut finished 1st, so he will be the 1st in line if replacement is needed

Best case scenario would be him pulling a Hera and getting in lol. It would be a shame to have anyone drop out due to situations.

Today, trailer was shared by some players on youtube, looks like the all the participants can make it. (judging by players presented in the video)

If any player wouldn't have visa and couldn't travel that would have been announced.

In theory replacement player could be called, if one player cannot go, but that is very unlikely now.

As of last week, every player had secured a Visa (including Yo) and booked their travel. The only thing that would prevent someone from attending at this point is covid or similar

Iirc, he only got his visa for RBW:L after he would have travelled.

Edit: Correction: apparently it was TGM where Vinch got his visa too late to travel.

you missed the point; claiming to be best of whole world population is low iq; a whooping 80% or so have no chance to even start and think how to hunt deer in that specific game called aoe2 DE; 40k is also a big stretch; they are the best of a few thousands and no, if some random from the street had time to practice it doesn't mean he gonna get good

you're dealing with hypotheticals. The results have shown that these players are top 10 in the world. You can speculate otherwise but that's just pure speculation.

AFAIK there's like 75000 active players in multi-player on de ATM. Doesn't count voobly, gameranger, and HD players. so top 10 is ~top 0.02%

The best in the world is a statement I wouldn't debate. The best out of 8 billion is a ridiculous statement though.

46000 is the number of accounts on the ladder according to aoe2.net. Sure you might count a few thousand more or less, but that doesnt change anything about the 8 billion statement.

To be fair, its the same for every sports/esports. There is only a fraction that play them. Some are played by more than others.
