Just hope Nili acknowledges that T90 & Dave are far better casters and lets them cast the final.
This should be a good tournament
This should be a good tournament

I don't know man, Nili matches fairly well with both Dave and T90. In any case, all the casting pairs should be hype - including Dash + T90 and Dash + Dave. I haven't heard Dash+Nili before, so that should definitely be interesting to hear (and I would not mind that to be the casting pair for 3rd place match). But I do think Nili should cast the finals, even if he has to split it half and half with T90 and Dave, as it is his tournament. We should get plenty of T90+Dave as its a longgg tournament (and as usual, there's always upsets happening so brackets can get wonky and you might even see 2 Giants face off earlier, so t90+dave can be chosen to cast that - and that's the wonderful thing about NAC, we can have players co-cast or cast the "lesser" hyped sets, or have teammates cast their teammates, etc etc)Just hope Nili acknowledges that T90 & Dave are far better casters and lets them cast the final.

tyDave is the best caster
Agree for the most part, but T90 has always stuck with aoe2.I guess you're an anti-memb cultist then? Such an unnecessarly rude post. Prefer the caster you want but keep in mind: On the contrary to Nili and T90 Memb is the one sticking to AoE2 and the Twitch community for ages and whenever he hosts a tournament he tries to include everyone. Something you can't say for Nili & T90 for sure.
strongly disagree tbh.
imo, he definitely has a niche appeal, with his emotion and shock value, and that (along with his years of hard work and dedication to the game, among other things) earns a place in the casting side of things. but the best or at the very top is tough to agree with.
Hello NiliMembs english is super bad and he always interrupts his cocaster. its good to have professional casters for this tournament.
yes, repeating himself over and over, screaming badaboom, brutal domination and aye yae yae every time there's a fight or he runs out of things to talk about is a sure sign of being more serious and focused on the actual gameplay than anyone else. The viewership numbers speak for themselves. Memb is the most watched caster in the game. While I like Dave and T90 a lot, I prefer Memb's casting if I had to choose. Memb is more serious and more focused on the actual gameplay.
I don't want to argue about the other things but yes, he does talk way less about non-gameplay-related topics than pretty much everyone else among the known casters. You can argue about whether this is good - I believe Dave said that he uses those things (such as birds) on purpose - but questioning that stance in general is quite weird.if it's your personal preference, no one is arguing about that. but when it comes to claiming he's the best, or that he is more serious or focused on gameplay than T90, Dave or other casters, thats a bit hard to back up.
Sorry but you are wrong, in tournaments, memb doesnt do those things. at least in the RB, or in his tournaments. also does not do that in the quarter finals, semi finals or finals of any tournament.yes, repeating himself over and over, screaming badaboom, brutal domination and aye yae yae every time there's a fight or he runs out of things to talk about is a sure sign of being more serious and focused on the actual gameplay than anyone else.

Is that a good thing though? I heavily disagree with that, imagine they have to cast a map like Arena with no action until castle age. How will you fill time? Even talking civ matchups, timings and other bonuses, I feel like T90 does the best job out of all the casters, when talking about strategies. I can recall so many strategic instances which T90 calls (and I am not referring to the MBL caster impression meme - which shows T90 hovering our the map, quickly scanning a building, going to the fight, and saying "Now he should go for a monastry or a siege workshop" and then goes back to the base to show it to the viewers properly 1111)I don't want to argue about the other things but yes, he does talk way less about non-gameplay-related topics than pretty much everyone else among the known casters. Its more complex decisions, like that crazy HC3 set between Viper and Mr Yo on High Tides, where Yo lamed Viper to oblivion. The game was lost in dark age, yet T90 was accurate on all the moves that Viper made for a crazy come back to happen (I recommend, must watch game, really cool set)
I even think Nili is really good at analyzing games, probably even better than Dave. If you have ever watched a Nili solo cast, you can see how interactive he is with chat about strategy talk, and I personally find that his thought process is almost like Viper or Daut (whose streams I watch a lot so I know how they usually think about positions).
Dave is probably the most humorous of all casters, and is so consistent too. You never have a bad cast with him, nobody hates him, and he knows how to get along while entertaining others. Also, he is the best in filling time in my opinion, you always want a cocaster who knows how to fill the awkward moments with comedy.
Eh, it's Arena. You could just record your analysis from one Arena game, play that, go for a lunch, come back and no one would notice you were gone.In my opinion, it is possible to fill even Arena Dark Age e.g. with analyses of the maps and the civ matchups with potential late game army compositions or success factors.
I think it‘s exactly the opposite. In terms of strategies and thinking about late game compositions of different civ matchups, Arena is the most interesting to analyse and you can use dark, feudal age for that.Eh, it's Arena. You could just record your analysis from one Arena game, play that, go for a lunch, come back and no one would notice you were gone.
its like having a partner, at the begining is all god, then, when the time pass, some certain things irritate you. and here you need to make a choice, stay because is more the ups than the downs, or divorce. with memb i choose to stay.T90 has done an excellent job in Titans league with filling the slow parts of the games with talk about the
tournament, standings, what is at stake, who needs so and so many points more and so on. Love that the standings are shown in between each game.
LeoMontero -> its true. My comment about Memb repeating himself too much with sort of half hearted catchphrases was in regards to other peoples tournaments when he is not 100 percent dedicaded. I dont know if it is critisism of the caster or just a problem of a viewer overconsuming a certain caster. Happens with people i follow in podcasts and youtube as well, after too much listing i start to be irritated by certain traits. If the goal is to stream every day and keep the viewers i honestly think repeating the same phrases too much can hurt.
i guess thats why divorce rates are an all-time high, people have options and can cheat easily with other (casters).its like having a partner, at the begining is all god, then, when the time pass, some certain things irritate you. and here you need to make a choice, stay because is more the ups than the downs, or divorce. with memb i choose to stay.
in fact those catchphrases are good to me.
for you it is "repeating himself" for other it is trademarkes and catchphrases that have origin in his stream - there is a story behind most of his things he is repeating. it is your personal preference to say its "hard to back up".yes, repeating himself over and over, screaming badaboom, brutal domination and aye yae yae every time there's a fight or he runs out of things to talk about is a sure sign of being more serious and focused on the actual gameplay than anyone else.

Just because Memb doesn't go on off topic tangents doesn't mean he is more focused on gameplay. He just keeps repeating token phrases regardless of whether they fit the situation or not. So it LOOKS as if he's talking about the game all the time but in reality what he says often doesn't describe what is ACTUALLY happening. A lot of it is fluff. Dave or T90 often break up the pace with some anecdote or pointing out a funny moment but when they analyze a gameplay situation, you can be sure they will do it accurately and go deep in detail exploring the strategy and possible counters. I like all of those casters but i simply cannot agree with claims that Memb is more focused on gameplay.I don't want to argue about the other things but yes, he does talk way less about non-gameplay-related topics than pretty much everyone else among the known casters. so you want to cancel all rusian people?? no matter what they think?? interestingAfter Memb giving a `admin win` against ClassicPro because his home country was bombed i got annoyed. When he than dragged vinch on the screen as an alternative for entertainment i decided to stop watching whatever Memb is involved in ...
So I am extremely happy that Memb is not casting, whatever his style of casting is to me, i don`t want to watch a person with no morals ...
T90 and Nili are 2k2-2k3s and that shows in their casting. Dave is super good at calling smart things (like just today T90 was casting the Kingstone-Ganji set with Miguel, it was arena and kingstone had 8 vils queued at 23 pop. T90 asked Miguel for a pro's opinion, if that was on purpose or just autopilot, and also said he asks this because Dave had mentioned this as a caster observation that pros do this on Arena to lower their score and make the opponent think they are trushing - like can you imagine how complex this is 11, I don't think Memb ever would even think like this, he would simply call it a mistake or something, while T90 addressed this with such a high IQ move)Just because Memb doesn't go on off topic tangents doesn't mean he is more focused on gameplay.
