With the AOElympics as my first organsied tournament and the Double Cup as the next smaller one, you already saw that I am trying to host tournaments that are different, giving players the opportunity to compete on maps and settings which are unused or underused.
It is not about hosting the most-viewed or most-played tournaments, or to get any profit (I haven't gained any money from any AoE community work or tournament organisation in 6+ years). Otherwise I would probably just host another Arabia or Arena tournament and likely find bigger donations and viewer numbers.
I can never promise you a next one , because I never know exactly how my life will be in a couple of months, especially currently, and prize pool and participating players mostly don't depend on me, but on the interest of donors and players. But here is an overview of what I have organised and still would like to organise.
Completed:
1. 2020 AOElympics (host and admin; with nimanoe and robo): 2020-06-15 - 2020-10-05 - 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 - 575 players - $7000 prize pool
2. Double Cup (host and admin; with Ruki): 2020-10-19 - 2020-12-15 - 1v1 - 23 players - $700 prize pool
2-tc/3-tc start maps.
- with 3 $100 promotional showmatches
3. 2021 Winter AOElympics (host and admin; with nimanoe): 2021-01-18 - 2021-03-21 - 1v1, 3v3 - 95 players - $225 prize pool. Smaller spinoff on winter-themed maps.
4. As co-admin with sieste (hallogallo): Good Old Times Cup: 2021-03-15 - 2021-05-19 - 1v1 - 32 players - $630 prize pool.
- with 1 $100 showmatch
5. World Desert Championship (host and admin; with Lord Patito) (incl. Sand League; with DaisyChain): 2021-04-12 - 2021-06-12 - 3v3 - >250 (225 in qualifiers) players - $9100 budget. 20 desert-themed maps, with map creation contest and dream team match
6. Double Cup 2 (host and admin; with DaisyChain): 2021-08-23 - 2021-10-27 - 1v1 - 32 players - $1000 prize pool
2-tc/3-tc start maps.
- with 3 $100 promotional showmatches
7. As admin with morxzas and sieste (hallogallo): Holy Cup: 2021-10-02 - 2021-10-10 - 1v1 - 16 players in main event, 70+ in qualifiers - $16500+ budget
Custom maps with a "holy" theme.
8. SOS Pantanal Charity event (with Marciocolombia) - 2021-10-14 - 2v2 - 4 teams of 2
Raising money to restore and protect the Pantanal.
9. Master of HyperRandom with Zetnus: 2021-12-13 - 2022-02-17 - 1v1 - 72 players - $880+ prize pool
- with 1 $50 showmatch
10. Return of the Clans with Nova: 2022-03-31 - 2022-03-20 - 3v3 - 58 teams - $6100 budget
- with 2 showmatches ($200, $300)
11. Terra Nova Duos with Nova & Lord Patito (incl. 2nd Division with DaisyChain, sieste & teapotmaster): 2022-04-11 - 2022-06-24 - 2v2 - 40 teams - $5200 budget
- with 2 showmatches ($150, $150) and map creation contest
12. Double Cup 3 with Elhyar & DaisyChain: 2022-10-03 - 22-12-21 - 1v1 - 45 players - $1050 budget
Ongoing:
13. 2023 Nations Cup with paradox303, Akkal, welcometorapture, Adico and Nerdox (incl. Silver League): 2023-01-30 - 2022-04-?? - 4v4 - ?? teams -
Concrete ideas:
1. World Desert Championship 2 (in 3 parts: 2v2, 1v1 and 3v3 in 2022-23)
2. Master of HyperRandom 2
3. Home Map Cup - 2v2 -
Big map pool. In a Bo5/7/9 all games after G1 are home maps, however before the final, a team can only use the same map as a home map twice within the whole tournament.
Masters of Nomad - 1v1 -
Preferrably using the old "AoC" Nomad map, because while DE's Nomad is fairer, it has lost its identity. Was there actually never a 1v1 Nomad tournament? I could not find any in the "past tournaments", only the Nomad Summer Showdown, which was played on a variety of Nomad start maps.
Has been fulfilled by Dave & T90 after several funding tries from my side failed.
Masters of MegaRandom 2 - 1v1 -
Follow-up to MoMR. As I somehow also prefer the old, pre-DE MR, could be G1 DE MR and G2-GX classic MR.
Has been replaced by Master of HyperRandom.
4. Conquest of China - 1v1 or 4v4 -
Collaboration with WWP. 12 maps based on Chinese regions.
Less concrete ideas:
1. Aquatic World Championship - 1v1 -
Variety of water maps (Islands, Rooster, Coral, Atoll, Baltic and more). I know this is not the most-preferred map pool, but there are players, also top players, who enjoy water maps. Does only make sense if many top players sign up to really crown the "water map champion".
2. 202X AOElympics - 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 -
Follow-up to the 2020 AOElympics, but different map pool, player restrictions and only happening with a more reliable admin team and a good sponsor making it attractive to top players and streamers.
3. World Desert Championship - 1v1 -
Map pack with 10-20 desert-themed maps, representing different deserts of the world. Would host a map creation contest for this to make the best representative and beautiful maps.
If you are interested in collaborating, feel free to message me. This is especially about the tournaments in the "concrete ideas" section. As I can't sponsor or stream any tournament myself and getting the prize money is the hardest part, any help in that regard is welcome.

2021 Plans for 2022 (if I could choose)
It is not about hosting the most-viewed or most-played tournaments, or to get any profit (I haven't gained any money from any AoE community work or tournament organisation in 6+ years).
