Huge shoutout to @MembTV for debugging the tool with me and the outstanding KotD4 event he's hosting. Great stuff


Don't worry Memb no more Titanics with this version as I have tested it in a Spanish windows and works flowlessly unlike the other version.

What was the problem?

Spoiler: More Details

Non-English Windows systems such as a Spanish one have completely different naming conventions for file/directory permissions e.g. Administradores instead Administrators etc. it's all fixed now.

What's New In Mod Locker V2?

You can re-order your mods priority by mouse right clicking them individually.

Finally Lock your Profile..

(@SouFire & @Ampeva Feel free to test this version, the previous version was awful.)

Note that Unchecked Mods will be deleted by the tool. Otherwise the game will attempt to read them anyhow.

This sounds awesome. I have German Windows 10 and AoE2:DE (with only the enhanced graphics dlc) and unfortunately it’s not working for me:
-After apply changes some mods like aoe:de scout are still active
- when I click the lock it's switch immediately back to unlock

any suggestions?

Thank you @R1ncewind for debugging with me! I guess it's safe to say after lots of trials and fails that V2.2 works for sure regardless of windows language.

I'm having issues with the mod locker. It was working perfectly until I modified something manually in the mod folder. Now, I can apply changes to the mods (well, actually I can, but it will untick all modes, leaving me with none). Funny thing is that this only happens with one of my profiles (the one I've changed manually) while the other one seems to work just fine. Any ideas?

I've already restarted my computer and erased the Modlocker
