Minimap - make the outer rhombus clickable?

I posted this question on other fora, without finding a solution. Trying one more time here:

Is there a way to further mod the transparent layout mod to make the outer minimap rhombus clickable? I’m thinking of something similar to how Capture Age is displaying the minimap.

See the area marked with blue (I already moved the flare and score buttons below).

Can we make this area clickable to expand the useful gaming area, and prevent accidental clicks in a non-clickable area?

There's quite a bunch of people who understand how mods work so not finding the answer there (i.e they told you it's not possible) will not lead to a different result elsewhere. So my guess would be the same. You can change the size and shape of the clickable area corresponding with the map rectangle. You are asking for a function in an area that wasn't there. What you are asking for seems to be a data mod, which isn't allowed.

In a similar fashion I've always had the problem that the deadzone beneath and to the right of the resource bar is so big. It's less of an issue when your research bar is at the top of screen or at the bottom left since you don't click those areas anyway.

According to a Forgotten Empires dev there's no way around it. Infuriating
