It seems to me like Villese, ACCM and Nicov are pretty much nailed-on to qualify, with Max and Vinch not far behind. Bact and Vivi feel like the most obvious choices for two of the remaining spots, but I've not
got a lot of confidence in picking them over the likes of Heartt, Jordan, Laaaaan, Barles, Slam, Daniel and Capoch. As far as the eighth of of the bracket that won't have any of the seven players I've already picked in it, I think that's anyone's game.

Minor feedback for the poll itself: I guess it's too late to change now, but I do think Chris and Tim are more likely options than Ganji and Kamigawa.

It'll be interesting to see the grind for ratings closer to the deadline.

As it stands, 23 or the top 32, or 14 of the top 16 eligible have signed up. If all of the top 16 sign up, it would be impossible right now for both Villese and Vinchester to qualify for example.

With $1,300 on the line, there is a big incentive to secure an easier path for qualification by playing on the ranked ladder, but that could also backfire depending on the sign ups and what the tiebreak method is for equal Elo.

He's not in his best moment, but Nicov is a beast, man. Difficult to imagine a big tournament without him

I am a bit shocked that you see Capoch above Nicov in anything else but EW settings (even on EW I would see Nicov as a favourite but that may be up for debate). Nicov has literally had one bad tournament result now, apart from that he always performed as somewhere between #7 and #12.
I also have no clue how you can think LaaaaaN has better chances. He didn't have any good result in the last 6 months except for World Cup 2v2 - actually all results have been pretty disappointing. This may have been due to internet issues and I would be happy for him if he qualifies, but I don't see any objective argument for rating him over a player like Nicov, who hasn't missed a single top 16 last year.

I'm fully with Breakfast here: Villese, Nicov, ACCM, Vinchester and TheMax should be the top favourites and I would be somewhat surprised if one of them doesn't make it, unless they play each other (although the level seems to get closer and a lot can happen, of course).
After that BacT and vivi are probably the "biggest names" with regard to recent tournament performance followed by the likes of slam and miguel, maybe LaaaaaN if he gets closer to top shape. However, there are certainly a lot of candidates that can challenge these guys. I went for Hearttt, JorDan and vivi but was maybe a bit biased

Okey, I'm gonna explain this one more time: tim and chris are kot there because I hit "post" by mistake, and published the survey before it was finished. Afterwards i keep adding options, in a hush, without thinking the order (as you can see Kamigawa appears in the survey before vivi and jordan, while those player have more chsnces to qualify than him).

When I could add more options to the pool, I just send it. Sadly, edit it was not an option
