Hello dear AoE fans!
The time has come, my third organized and second own tournament is ready to be annunced!
The Maggie Summer Cup!
This time there are three divisions!
The 1st division goes from 1600-1900 ELO
The 2nd division goes from 1300-1600 ELO
The 3rd division goes from 1000-1300 ELO
Of course, the winners get something for their good performance:
We start with an 8 round Swiss system and then go into a knockout system with the top 8 players in each division.
All matches in the Swiss system are Bo1 on the home map of the lower seed.
In the K.O. round are the matches Bo3, except for the semifinals that will be a Bo5 and the final, that will be a Bo7!
The Mappool:
The maps are all re-created by myself (a changelog will be released)
Dirty Arabia
Nomad
Golden Swamp
Atacama
Hideout
Four Forests (new map)
River Fortress (new map)

In international matchups, the server to which both players have the best connection to is selected.
Civ draft:
Each match is a hidden civ pick no repeat.
Maps during the swiss Round:
The lower seed chooses two maps from the pool. The higher seed then selects the map that will be played.
Maps during the K.O. Round:
Both players share their home maps with each other before the match.
After that, each player bans one of the remaining maps.
The first match always takes place on the MSC1_DirtyArabia.
then the home map of the loser from match 1
then the home map of the loser from match 2
etc.
Bugged Maps:
Even if I think it is very unlikely that this will happen, the game will restart if the map is obviously bugged. (The recording needs to be sent as well)
Resources that are inaccessible from more than one side and from more than 3 tiles are considered bugged.
This includes sheep and wild boars that are in forests, or resources that are only partially accessible.
Laming:
Laming of any kind is prohibited!
However, this only applies to the first 10 ingame minutes.
Sheep found are simply left standing.
The exception is the 1st division, which is allowed to lame as much as their hearts desire, except for Stragglertrees if they do not belong to a wall.
Scheduling:
Every matchup that defines you must also be passed on to me. Even though I may not be able to cast all the games, I would like to be able to watch the games.
If a player does not show up within 30 minutes at an agreed date, the player who appears has the right to an Admin Win.
Cheating:
Anyone who cheats will of course be kicked out of the tournament.
This also includes stream snipes, a viewer in the game or a “coach” who gives tips / instructions during the game and the use of a “smurf” account, even if this was not evident when registering.
Mods:
Only mods with graphic content are allowed.
Prize pool:
The prices are completely set by me.
If donations, bits or subscriptions come in on my channel during the tournament period, 75% of them will also flow evenly into the prize pool.
Disclaimer:
No team or player has a legal right to participate in the tournament. Furthermore, no team or player has a legal claim to the announced prize money if they have been disqualified from the tournament by the tournament management. The tournament management reserves the right to make changes to the tournament regulations at any time. By registering for the tournament, each player declares his agreement with the present tournament regulations. (Thanks to Sostratos)
