Looking for coaching (dont know if this is the right place to post, if not plz move)

Hi. I am from Argentina and I will be a pro in like 2 or 3 months, but for that I need coaching, wich I want to start in aprox 1 month. Why that time? because I am recovering from an injury and will not be able to play right now.

Anyone you could recomend or some place to make comparisions?. I know (and played but never competitive) this game forever and watch streams forever. My knowladge of the game is very high and also have a high APM (not now, but yes in some weeks again). I have never played a RTS gmae competitive but I have allways been "that guy that you will not beat". So, ego aside I will do this in 2-3 months and get to at least the second tier competitive scene. Why this way? well I have another "in computer" job but I will not do it for 2-3-4 months so I will have the time (and fingertips lol) to play. I have allways wanted to play high level but never really have the chance to put the time and not kill my eyes and hands in the proces. So now is the time.

Lenguajes: spanish, argentino, and english.

Prices?: IDK, 30usd an hour will get me Daut or who?.

Style: also I belive I need someone like a macro and meta player. I need that input cause my style is more vinchester, so sometimes I make "too much magic" and nothing really happens. Maybe Capoch´s or daut´s style. OFC I can not pay them, but someone in that style? like A LOT OF HORSES?

What am I looking for? someone that could help me to improve ofc, but looking for someone that helps me in the mecanics of the game (havent played for some 3 years, so not use to multiqueque and all of that) and ofc someone that can correct all my mistakes. I have been some decent huns player and like to play arabia a lot, but never really understood good the game because of that. I was a preety decent (1800 or so) player until castle age but got a bit short of transitions on imperial with some civs. Also need to improve in the interpretation of the situations.

Well now at days anyone would kill me, never ever played DE, but you will all be surprised when this argentinian start destroying daut´s castles.

So, if this is not the place you can move the post ofc. But yeah, again, looking for some advice of who to contact or when can I found people that help me. I will not pay for HERA right now, but I belive I could pay for the 2nd tier players.

By the way, I do understand that today you do not need to use THAT many keyboard like in the past, due to MQ, that is the main reason why I belive I can do this today. I play guitar and piano and trying to play a lot of games in the past really got my left hand tired. I belive and want to try this now, so yeah, this is not trolling xD this is only my heart, here, open, for all you guy. You can love me, I dont care.

Your ego is frankly a big put-off for anyone trying to help you, and it certainly fits the stereotype. A Spanish friend used to tell me that if you could buy an Argentinian for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth, you'd make a killing in an instant. Reading your post I'm inclined to agree, at least in your case.

If you're gonna get coaching, the first thing you need is to take that ego and shove it up your arse. If you're gonna be getting instructions from someone you need to understand that you're the one that's wrong 90% of the time. As for who you could get coaching from, well, you could try asking your fellow Argies Capoch or Nicov, who not only play at a high level but also speak Spanish, which might make it easier for them to try and explain where exactly you're ****ing up. I do get the feeling that Capoch will tell you to get the **** off about 15 minutes into your first coaching session if you show up with this attitude. You can also ask some second/third tier 2k+ LATAM players who coach such as BL4CK or Sebastian2002. I think some of the Chilean guys also offer coaching. I'm sticking to Latin American options because I also believe they may be more affordable for someone in that region.

If you haven't play AoE II in the last 3 years it's literally impossible you have a "very high knowledge about the game" Lot's of balance changes, mechanics, new civs...

I would recommend you to start grinding, see until which point you get, and after that, rethink what you should do. But sincerelly, I highly doubt you can reach pro level in 2 months. for that you should be already, at least, 2k, which you're obviously not

I like the fact that you are fully motivated to become a pro player in very near future. That is the only thing I like in your post, though.

Before aiming for getting coaching by a pro player, I'd suggest you to have a deeper knowledge and understanding about the game; more specifically civs, maps, different metas and their build orders. Several good players have introduced new build orders, take a look at them. Study them, try to even excel in them if you want to be a pro yourself.

I don't think there is a pro player or 2nd tier player out there who is going to take you by the hand and teach you each and every single thing about the game. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You say you are around 1800 elo and I'm guessing it's in Voobly. In DE, it equals to a much lower elo.

The last but not the least, there is a thin line between self-confidence and arrogance. You give the impression of having the latter. Nobody is loved by everyone. (Well, maybe except Daut *kappa*) Have some humility. It would help you a lot in the long run, not only when you are casting but anywhere at all.

You couldn't survive by playing this game, so don't do that. Even people very good still need another job to feed themself. The energy you need to spend to be that good is way more than the payback. Enjoying this game probably is a better choice.

I do not need to give up my other job btw, I can do both and that is the idea. But yeah, I will enjoy this game, but only way to real enjoy it for me is to get to my top level. Is just the human I am, an impressive one.
