It has been a long tournament. Many matches have been played throughout the tournament, many teams had to be eliminated and much effort had to be put in to finally reach the highly anticipated Loser's Bracket Finals between VNS B and 2k4 MY ASS. Let's prepare for this event by having a preview containing an expert analysis and the expectations from the community.

VNS B (vs) 2k4 MY ASS

Both teams have shown great performances throughout the tournament and just by judging the skills, it will be really tough to predict the outcome of this amazing event. Many factors will play an important role in these games, let's take a look.

Viet Nam Strategy B - VNS B :

VNS__bacgioifro: A great player, who is especially known for his aggresive gameplay and well through thought strategies. His micro is definitely on top of what AoCs' finest have to offer and espcially these skills define him as a such strong Arabia player.
VNS__Yellow : A great player as well, who is especially known for his archer-heavy orientated builds and for his fast pushes with 3 TC economy. Yellow's style adapts really well on Arabia as well, that's why they both together form such a great Arabia Team.

2k4 MY ASS :

F1Re: Fire is a really strong Arabia player, who has recently shown great performances in the tournament and in Voobly games as well. His winning streak definitely boosts his mental strenght. His great micro and aggresive playstyle is remarkable.
GoKu: Goku has been to AoC for a long, long time and therefore he has gained himself much experience. Though he is a great player, his tournament results in big tournaments don't really reflect his really strenght. I consider Goku more as the player, who likes to protect his economy with well placed buildings and walls while dragging opponent's attention away from Goku's base and hit good timings to damage his opponent.
St4rk: Stark is especially known for his Castle Age and Imperial Age play. His style and AoC knowledge allow him to abuse his map as good as he can and thus gain the optimal benefit from his map. He loves stone walling himeself in and focus more on economy. This style has brought him the amazing late fight skills he has currently.

Two factors will play a huge importance in this match up. The plain AoC skills and the mental strength of each individual.
The closer we get to the deciding situation, which shows us the distribution of the tournament's final rankings, the bigger the pressure will be for the participants. Having team 2k4 MY ASS with a straight + 4 streak, it will definitely boost their confidence as they are kind of on fire now. Team VNS B most recent game in the tournament was a loss and therefore they might have the disadvantage in terms of mental strength.

Both teams are also known for game moves, which are being considered as lame by the majority of the community. Neither player of each team will waste the opportunity to abuse the situation of their opponents' bad sheep/boar placement. This also makes the games so unpredictable, because the chance of the games developing in an ordinary way is extremely low.

Viet Nam Strategy B - VNS B has had a great run throughout the tournament, even beating the #2 seeded SY-A team from China to gain themselves a place in the Winner Bracket Finals.

2K4 MY ASS : Their journey through the tournament wasn't as remarkable as VNS B's, yet they showed great performance and also showed in the Loser Bracket that they aren't a team to be understimated. Their +4 winning streak and the most recent victory over 4th seeded TyRanT Z, featuring the legends _DauT and
DreaIVIs, with a straight 3-0 win have definitely helped them boost their confidence.

Both teams have never faced each other in this tournament and will therefore have a hard time adapting to each others styles. Both teams are very equal in terms of playstyle, experience and decision making.

I feel like we won't witness a plain equal civ match up this time. Team 2k4 MY ASS don't like Atzecs too much and this will make it very hard for them to beat the Meso Combo of VNS B. Only with a really bad map for VNS B, team 2k4 MY ASS can claim the victory

Team 2k4 MY ASS has a great combination of Huns + Mongols and I personally give them an edge over VNS B

Game 5: Double Arabia – Free Pick

Double Arabia is overall an extreme hard map and it requires especially speed. Judging each players' playstyle and their speed I feel like 2k4 MY ASS will grab the win

Game 6: Free pick but cannot repeat Civilizations used by both teams in G1 and G4

This will be a tough game, indeed. I feel like this will be the longest game of the set, having many imperial fights. I think VNS B will come up on top and secure themselves the last win to advance to the GRAND FINALS

I was really surprised when i saw 2k4 MY ASS beating TyRanT Z 3-0. I may have underestimated the importance of practice games. And as we saw, the big prepare of 2k4 MY ASS, brought them an ''easy'' victory against daut and dreams. But, now 2k4 MY ASS has to face BAC + YELLOW (VNS team) who are also very well trained. So, as long as both teams are prepared and trained, the one who is strongest will be able to gain the victory. And for me, the strongest one is VNS team. So my bet will be 4-2 for Bacf+Yellow against 2k4 MY ASS.

Personally I think VNS B, nowadays, is a team of two players who are in top10 of the best players. Besides that, fire, goku and ever have been doing awesome these days, ever is better than yellow and bacgiofrio, while fire and goku can afford their game very good. Imo result is gonna be 4-2 to 2K4 my ass, and I'd be glad to see a brazilian team on grand final! The final score will be 4-2 in favour of 2k4 MY ASS.

This will be an interesting match up. I think both teams are very strong and shown good communication. 2k4MyASS has a slight mental advantage beating a top team Tyrant Z. If they use this motivation with some more training, I think they will take it. VNSB is a difficult oppenenet, however I think bacg/yellow has less expierence in arabia then stark/goku/f1re..Sure its going to be hard, but 2k4MYASS plays faster in arabia. If the games go longer then VNS will surely have a better chance. Anyways, will be a nice match up,gl to both teams.4-3 2k4MYASS.

VNS B wins no doubt in my mind about that. Even tough 2.4k MY ASS beat TyRanT Z 3:0, I dont think it shows their power, it rather shows that TyRanT Z wasnt rdy to play(daut seemed loosing his side all games). Yellow and bacgiofro had edge over their opponents in every aspect of game, they had better macro and good comunication, and higher individual rates. Only thing im not sure is how active bacgiofro is, cause i havent seen him playin for while, but if he will play like he played before, they win. And dont forget that they won SY A which was a strong team (stronger than brazilians). I belive that the fianlsl score will be 4:2 in favour for Vietnam. It would be Interesting, if Stark plays knowing that he said 2.4k my ass about bacgiofro, would be fun match up, if they play vs each other. Another interesting point is that both teams love to lame a lot, who will lame opponent more will have the advantage.

I think it's gonna be a really close match, they are all really amazing players and they are doing it really good lately. It's very hard for me to give a prediction, but i would say that it will be 4-3 to 2k4 my ass. I think Fire, Goku and Ever are doing a really, really good job and they are strongly motivated and determinated to win or atleast do the best they can do. No doubt that this will be a nice match to watch!

I would say 2k4 MY ASS will win 3-2. I'm quite surprised about their performance. They are getting better and better each tournament game. Guess they will make it vs VNS B.

VNS B 4 - 2K4 MY ASS 2
Although Fire and Goku are playing really well, I have the feeling that they still can't vs Yellow and Bacgio. This is because VNS B"max power" is very high, when they rox, they are probably top 5 in Aoc. I'd bet to 2K4 MY ASS in the random civ games, since they have showed good decisions and team work against Daut and Dreams. Imo, 2K4 shouldn't try to play normal games,but they should go for slings or rare strats to surprise the Vietnameses.

After many different views and expectations, now we're just waiting for the records to appear. Who will come up on top of these games is yet to be decided. What we know for sure though, is that it will be an amazing clash!
